I hope it gets more exciting when we get to foreign policy.
The subject is a winner for him. If its discussed it doesn't matter what is said.Clearly romney is a far superior candidate to mccain.Mika should be interesting tomorrow. He has said absolutely nothing of value.Huh?Romney losing bad on healthcare.
Just an "i"No not really but Romney has looked credible tonight. be interesting if it moves the polls if at all.I went to eat hot wings and watch women's college volleyball. Am I mossing anything?
:softball:I think Romney looks at the TV and not the top of Obama's head.
It's his 20th wedding anniversary and he just remembered he forgot to get Michelle a present.Obama is losing the thread too many times. It's like he has something else on his mind.
I'm watching on CNN with the split screen and Mitt looks non-presidential when he's not speaking. The look on his face is annoying.Obama is best when he runs out the clock! I guess when you are winning you just let Romney punch himself out.
He must have campaign managers that worked on that. He's probably trying to look respectful, but it comes across as a forced smirk. So this is the standard now?Is one term 8 years now?Obama = 1-term presidentRomney is doing okay tonight, but traditionally the challenger does very well in the first debate. However, what he's not doing tonight is coming across as a guy anyone would like to have a drink with. He's failing to connect with anyone. He's also stated multiple items that either don't make sense ("I won't cut any taxes that raise the deficit") and hasn't brought up any significant talking points that would influence independents. He's in attack mode and sounds more like a campaign stop than an case to be president. Winning the battle tonight thus far but he's going to lose the war of the election if something significant doesn't go his way.
Seriously, thought Romney was the underdog but not close. wow. This is looking like a TKO. Christ, Who knew Obama would be so flaccid.
Yep. Lots of ramblingObama is losing the thread too many times. It's like he has something else on his mind.
too bad they are not getting into foreign policy tonight - Romey could have capitalized on the Libya disaster while it is fresh in people's mind
You are giving people waaaaay too much credit.Everyone who wasn't wooed by his snake oil sales pitch. This is looking like a TKO. Christ, Who knew Obama would be so flaccid.
Code word: "endowed." Romney knows how to send hidden messages to his followers.

Yes, I'd trust the second guy more to perform my vasectomy. Is there a fundamental difference between tonight's moderator and a crazy senile guy spilling soup all over himself?
BURNwhere Studs used his timely appearance asMarvin has used his as

Yea pdp you know betterYou guys are living in a fantasy world if you think Romney is killing it.
Florida took a hard right when they elected Rick Scott 2 years ago, suddenly this state is wrapped up for Obama which is nuts. You can say the statement is dumb if you like, but again that sounds like a post to just shut the poster up. Instead of saying it's dumb, why don't you make a valid point of your own rather than put the poster(me) down here? Why do people say dumb things like this? The media announced Obama as the winner 2 weeks ago in the polls which was done to suppress people from getting out and voting.
Go ask Rhymes, Obama makes teh juice.what channel is this one on
Obama not gettin any tonightIt's his 20th wedding anniversary and he just remembered he forgot to get Michelle a present.Obama is losing the thread too many times. It's like he has something else on his mind.
he probably knew he just had to show up to beat those doltsMitt on point tonight, so much better than he was during the primaries
Obama and Romney's deliveries project completely differently...One thing I'm noticing in the debate: Not only does Romney seem much more prepared, he also seems much more fluent and projectable in his responses. Obama, on the other hand, seems stammery, sloppy and choppy. Almost like a guy who crammed to memorize his play lines the night before the show.

I find it puzzling that he couldn't at least throw out some talking points. It's like he is totally unprepared.Obama and Romney's deliveries project completely differently...One thing I'm noticing in the debate: Not only does Romney seem much more prepared, he also seems much more fluent and projectable in his responses. So you think that if we hadn't fought WWII the economy the past 65+ years would be exactly the same?He literally just doesn't get it. You can't create jobs for the long-haul by spending taxpayer money. It makes zero sense.
Seriously, thought Romney was the underdog but not close. wow. This is looking like a TKO. Christ, Who knew Obama would be so flaccid.

Yeah, he's making a lot of grand statements that "should" be questioned over the next few days. We'll see how that pans out.The debate is only the first half. Swing voters are just as likely to make up their minds from the media coverage over the next few days. Think Al Gore sighing. Romney's "winning" by laying down some real whoppers, especially on taxes. The press hasn't really had alot of patience with this from him this year.Obama playing it safe. He's losing though. Does it matter? I'm guessing most have turned to Honey Boo Boo by now...
MoP: it's just conspiracy theory silliness. You are giving the media WAY too much credit - they are populated by morons who print whatever will sell a story. Don't give them so much credit - it's like people who think the federal govt can cover up Roswell...the govt isn't that competent, and neither is the media.Florida took a hard right when they elected Rick Scott 2 years ago, suddenly this state is wrapped up for Obama which is nuts. You can say the statement is dumb if you like, but again that sounds like a post to just shut the poster up. That's the reality that noone wants to acknowledge. The past 60 years of prosperity were a bubble that was funded by the Federal Government. So you think that if we hadn't fought WWII the economy the past 65+ years would be exactly the same?He literally just doesn't get it. You can't create jobs for the long-haul by spending taxpayer money. It makes zero sense.
Uh, you'll have to explain your logic a bit further to get a response on this.So you think that if we hadn't fought WWII the economy the past 65+ years would be exactly the same?He literally just doesn't get it. You can't create jobs for the long-haul by spending taxpayer money. It makes zero sense.
Yeah, everyone knows the way to create jobs is to cut the taxes of the wealthy and let that cash just trickle down. :boatloads:He literally just doesn't get it. You can't create jobs for the long-haul by spending taxpayer money. It makes zero sense.
