It really is. I thought it was bs until i tried it. Cant believe they dont walmart it and make millions. The shave oil is amazing. Seriously.Pretty skeptical about this shave oil. And these sponges. They're...sponges.
Totally agree. Great product. I'll never get my money out of it as i dont read the amount of books to do so but for traveling or vacation it cant be beat.I resisted the switch from actual books as long as I could but Amazon Paper White is an amazing product.

The highlight of each trip is strolling through the meat aisle looking for Prime cuts.I would have a membership for only the meat selection. I think the meat is of better quality than I can get with the local grocery stores, and it is a ton cheaper. They really are head/shoulders above everyone else. Just got mine in the mail yesterday. Normally, I don't shave on Fridays but this week I'm making an exception. The shave oil is amazing. Seriously.Pretty skeptical about this shave oil. And these sponges. They're...sponges.
Like their gas prices too! ~$0.05 - $0.10 per gallon cheaper than local average. They also drive neighbor prices down almost to theirs, so you can go across the street if the lines are too long.Even their returns are awesome.Bought some jarred marinara there that was awful. Like we say in our house. "Costco does it again"
I have a pair of Bose "Video Roommates" that are nicely amplified that I use as a "soundbar" for a TV. Nice deep sound, even without a bass box. Got them in 1988 on my way to college for use with a portable CD player! I have another pair of 201s(?) from the same era that I need to hook up to an amp to see if they still work.i have a pair of 1973 Bose 901's that I use in the summer time to blast music in the back yard while we swim. If i wanted to, i could crank up the denon amp that drives them and make it sound like we were having a concert in my back yard, they basically are unbreakable. Still sound great 42 years later.
Neither here, closest is about 30 miles away, but we are getting a Sam's soon. Yay? <_< We've been teased with Costco for years, maybe now that Sam's is coming Costco will follow.Costco rules. We kicked Sams Club to the curb - that place sucks. It's just a bigger Wal-Mart.
I like Costco for the simple fact they pay their people a good wage. Fyi give it a full two weeks. The first few times you use it it will feel weird. But you'll get used to it. Change the tip every four to six months. They are three bucks. Soak the whole thing in vinegar once a year to remove hard water deposits. Install with Teflon tape for superior sealJust bought the showerfloss

Boring but one of the best things I have ever done as far as yard maintenance was get an electric string trimmer. I got a Black and Decker and it came with 2 batteries but man do I regret every moment I ever spent with a gas powered one.
Anything from Cariloha...underwear, socks, sheets...by far the most comfortable stuff on the market. Love me some bamboo.

I HAD one of these, but the Dobermans learned they could go right through it and would it at full speed and get a little tangled in it. It lasted about a week. Smaller animals probably wouldn't tear it up so quickly. Costco basically gave them a big middle finger, saying something along the lines of: our people are our greatest asset. We want them to be happy coming to work every day.
Right about the time I signed up with them instead of Sam's. Never regretted it. The money I've saved on diapers alone for three kids made it worth it.
Does the fact that for some products they like them their way in size or packaging bother the vender in some way? I bought a phone there that had a huge box (10x11x6 or something) that was mostly empty. It had to be that way so it could be sold in the open on crates without shelving.Costco treats their employees well, but they absolutely destroy their vendors. It goes like this:
Year 1 - Hey, we like your product, let's do business. Vendor is excited, starts making money and ramping up production.
Year 2 - Hey we love your product, but we are only going to pay you 90% of what we did last year. Vendor is still making cash, so accepts and continues making more.
Year 3 - Hey, still loving your stuff, but guess what, we are paying you 60% this year. CVendor will now either break even or take a loss. They have a stockpile that they have to sell so agree to drop their pants and let them do their business.
Year 4 - The vendor either got run out of business by what Costco did to them, or they no longer sell to them because of how badly they got killed financially.
I can attest to that from a guy I know that had it happen just like that to him.
They invest so much into production and stockpiling for the year to come, expecting that their gains will be the same. Once they are taking a loss on the product, that generally leads to problems with businesses. How in the hell does that destroy the vendor?
I can see how they ran into problems. You're describing Walmart/Sam's Club to a much great extent. The issue with those two is that if you don't agree to meet their price, there may not be enough of a market elsewhere where you can sell and stay in business.Costco treats their employees well, but they absolutely destroy their vendors.
