That game was what hockey was meant to be.  Two evenly matched, highly skilled teams playing their hearts out.   Would've loved to see another OT.  One of the best games I've seen.

I have said for years this is by far the best tourney going.This last one certainly hasn't changed my mind for a second.

No way they need to end the championship game with a shootout,let the kids play,Given how great the action was the entire game another few minutes to let them decide a real winner(instead of a gimmick) was only fitting.Bravo USA,well done once again!

Awesome game and so fun. So excited for the future of hockey. 

100% agree that they just extend OT for Gold. Or at least 4 on 4 or 3 on 3.

Loving the Wild prospects Kaprizov, Greenway, Eriksson Ek and Kunin. Takes away the sting of losing good players in the expansion draft to Vegas.

Its an amazing tournament. I wish the U18 championship got the same amount of hype/exposure as this one. Yes, they're a couple years younger but you get true best on best because none of them are pros. The number of players eligible for the WJC who are in the NHL this year is astounding. Connor McDavid was still eligible to play in it . Also Eichel, Matthews, Laine, Werenski, Marner, Konecny, Aho, Tkachuk, Hanifin, Provorov, etc... The U18 is the year before NHL draft so all those guys play in it.
