It’s honestly just lazy analysis at this point.I caught the second half tonight of Eagles/49ers on the NFL Network (on mute, with tunes playing). Purdy is the real deal. He made a lot of tough throws under pressure, including a bunch on 3rd and long. I suspect any doubter is someone who isn't watching the games.Sure he has plenty of good playmakers but not the best offensive line. Also, there are statistics that show (I’m sure @Wingnut can pull them at the tip of his finger) that he’s not just a dink and dunk QB who is relying on playmakers to do all of his work.Ans if he was on the Falcons, he would suck..Amazing how much draft capital matters, why can’t some people just admit the dude is good at football.Probably late 2nd day-mid 3rd dayI have another question. Where would he be drafted in real life today if they could redo that draft?
The guy fits their offense great, but there are teams he would be benched on.
Dude got put in the best situation possible... Good for him, but still doesn't make him a top 5 QB.
This is why IMO CJ Stroud is the best QB in the league.. He has pretty much made the Texans a playoff team.
Bottom line: if Purdy had been a 1st round pick instead of Mr. Irrelevant, people wouldn’t be going out of their way to diminish what he’s accomplishing.
