Let me know so I can drop him. I’m sure there are others out there, but I ended up with Burrow and Purdy as my QBs. I was so happy until both got the toe injuries.Makes you wonder if this is going to end up shelving Purdy. Turf toes are tough to predict.
My gut says no. He finished last week and had discomfort the following day. He will now have two full weeks.Makes you wonder if this is going to end up shelving Purdy. Turf toes are tough to predict.
i tend to agree - think this is more of a short week decision to get him finally right along with the others. if it was a regular week may be different - full 2 weeks to recover and Kittle back soon - may be a good but low window. My gut says no. Hopefully that will be enough.
At the end of the day the only thing we know about Turf Toe is that we can't predict long term ramifications. They are too tricky to predict IMO.i tend to agree - think this is more of a short week decision to get him finally right along with the others. if it was a regular week may be different - full 2 weeks to recover and Kittle back soon - may be a good but low window. My gut says no. Who knows how Purdy thinks about that. I'm sure he's a competitor and wants to be out there, but is it in his best interest long term if he keeps aggravating the toe? Again, long term ramifications of turf toe is hard to predict.Their 3-1 despite a ton of injuries and tied for the division lead, they aren't shutting Purdy down unless it's clearly season ending. Lots of winnable games on that schedule too: Atl, Hou, NYG, CAR, ARIx2, Cle, Tenn, Chi...

Oh I get it because it's a short week, I'm just thinking more long term. I'm not trying to be hyperbolic. Its a Thursday gameMakes you wonder if this is going to end up shelving Purdy. Turf toes are tough to predict.
That only works if you're on the field
dumb move playing him in an AFC game with a short week upcoming -From The @NFLonPrime TNF pregame show: #49ers QB Brock Purdy suffered a setback of his turf toe injury against the #Jaguars and is now considered week-to-week. He could miss additional games after tonight.
Jones wasn’t available. Platt 3rd string? Besides, a rueful toe may have gotten hurt this week. He isn’t well and may not be all season.dumb move playing him in an AFC game with a short week upcoming -From The @NFLonPrime TNF pregame show: #49ers QB Brock Purdy suffered a setback of his turf toe injury against the #Jaguars and is now considered week-to-week. love their schedule down stretch - i hope he takes a few weeks to finally get healthy.Purdy should take his time coming back - tough win yesterday over a really good Rams team, with Mac Jones at QB and my uncle Bob at WR. If the Niners can just get healthy, watch out.
Mark him OUT so I can make a roster move!
This might be the most annoying thing for me as a Purdy owner in multiple leagues. I keep getting roster locked when he goes back to "questionable" Tuesday despite knowing he will eventually be declared out.Mark him OUT so I can make a roster move!
I’m thinking about Mac Jones over Trevor Lawrence in Superflex but I just can’t pull the trigger on that idea.

But when does he come back!? ESPN says est 10/19. I also saw this, https://www.hindustantimes.com/spor...-revealed-after-turf-toe-101760527113283.htmlBest buy low out there IMO. Defense in shambles. All his weapons coming back. Easy schedule.
With Mac Jones injured better sure he's backHe’s back at practice, albeit in a limited fashion. But I’d think this puts him on track to play![]()
My read on the practice reports was that he might return this week, but if I had to guess I'd say he's another week out. He’s back at practice, albeit in a limited fashion. But I’d think this puts him on track to play![]()
LmaoJust dumped him....someone dropped Baker
Someone dropped the mvp? What kinda mickey mouse leagueJust dumped him....someone dropped Baker, I couldn't help myself.
Yeah, I'd be very interested to know what he got in return and who his other QB isSomeone dropped the mvp? What kinda mickey mouse leagueJust dumped him....someone dropped Baker, I couldn't help myself.

And the best part is, this scene will be appropriate for every single season going forward as well!
You've been driving the Purdy bus since I can remember. What is your take on the Purdy vs Jones debate? Do you think Brock's talent is all based on Shanny?QB Brock Purdy likely a reach to return this week at Houston, “will continue like he did last week,” said Shanahan
I don't think there's a debate, Purdy is the starter and should be when healthy. Mac has been great in the backup role but I don't think he'd be better for SF than Purdy long term. That's not a knock on Mac, I just think Purdy is a better fit for this team. I've become a big fan of Mac this season though. He's tough as nails and I hope he finds a landing spot as a starter when his time in SF is over. You've been driving the Purdy bus since I can remember. What is your take on the Purdy vs Jones debate? It was stated some time back that this toe injury could linger all year. It's looking like that is the case. Turf Toe is a bad injury.Don’t love this news. I’ve been patient with him and okay with it in Superflex knowing that they have a nice schedule.
But, I’m butting up against byes and figured he’d be back by now. Getcha toe right Purdy!
I know Purdy is their long term guy, but does that actually work against him here?Don’t love this news. I’ve been patient with him and okay with it in Superflex knowing that they have a nice schedule.

Yes, this is my concern too. Mac is playing well and the Niners are winning. So they probably won’t bring him back until he’s 100%. Who knows when that will be…The Niners are winning without him. He's not coming back until he's really close to 100%.
