QB Caleb Williams, CHI (2 Viewers)

What's is Caleb Williams ceiling? If everything goes PERFECT. How many yards and touchdowns does he throw?
PERFECT??? 10k and 100tds prob.
Thing is, if it's PERFECT, every time the opponent has the ball, they will throw a pick-six. Caleb will never have a shot to do anything except for the first drive of either the first or second half. But should get a 50 to 80 yard TD instantly. So I'll project 1200 yds and 17 TD's if everything goes perfect.
True, but I guess it depends on if he meant it goes perfectly for the Bears or for Caleb.

And to your extreme if it goes perfectly for the Bears, they would run back those kickoffs for TDs so Caleb actually would never play a snap :P

Caleb plays one of the easiest schedules, the most allowed points in the league per FFI. All divisional games are Nov 17 (GB) and later. The early schedule is favorable, only GM 2 @HOU looks tough.

DJ Moore on Caleb Williams being named a captain as a rookie: “He went out there and proved himself, took command of the offense. He started opening up. People saw that and we’re rocking with him.”

Jay Cutler's 3800/28 makes him the all time leader in single season yards and TD's.

C Williams gets anything close to that his rookie season-Bears fans will go nuts.

#Bears OC Shane Waldron on what he has seen from Caleb Williams that tells him he's ready: "I think Caleb’s done a nice job of being comfortable in who he is, and I think leadership starts with the ability to go out there and perform at this level and also the ability to go out there and not force any sort of leadership on his teammates, especially being a young player in the league. So I think by him just going out there and being himself, being comfortable in who he is and the starting point for what other people in the building see around him is how hard he works. If you’re a great person and you work hard, you’re naturally going to fit into a leadership role, especially at the quarterback position. Glad everyone around him has embraced him and I think he’s done a good job of naturally falling into that role and not forcing anything.”

Really disappointed w this outcome. Know its one game but it sure looked bad. All Bear FF plays were just lousy. At least the nail polish was cute

Did he just not look good? The Bears might've been the offense people were expecting the biggest jump out of.

I'm looking forward to checking out the replay on NFL+.

Didn’t see the game on TV but followed along on the app. I suspect the Titans disrupted the Bear’s OL and the Bear’s coaching staff had no answers. DJ Swift Kmet Jax Odunze were pedestrian and the offense was shut down. DST and Santos put the win on the board. Not a good start at all for Williams

OL, particularly the IOL was inconsistent and sometimes downright bad. Caleb looked rattled most of the game. Titans did a good job of sending blitzes up the gut towards the weakest part of the OL. His eyes were big the entire game and mostly didn't have time to get set. When he did, he was off. If the Bears can't get the IOL figured out, they have the blueprint for ruining yet another QB.

ETA - playcalling was uninspiringly vanilla for the most part. No Getsy specials of running the same play 3x in a row, so that's a win, I suppose.

All but one completion that was thrown past the LOS was to the left within 1-10 yards of the LOS.
The other was a rollout to Moore.

68 of 93 yards, one spot

I can't be too hard on Williams. I expected more, but maybe we didn't have realistic expectations for him. He played turnover free ball and the moment didn't look too big for him. He needs to get better and I think he will. The Titans defense is a very solid unit.

Caleb is a worse Justin Fields who likes to wear nail polish. Bears are dumb to have downgraded at QB with their #1 pick. There were better QB prospects in this draft class than soft Caleb.

The expectations on rookie qbs is unrealistic and out of control. I saw some Caleb MVP picks on some of the season previews this week. Crazy. Playing qb in the NFL is not that easy.

Allen and Caleb were even. Caleb missed Allen down the left sideline on what would have been an easy TD and Allen dropped one in the endzone on what should have been a TD. Day could have been much better stat wise.

Could have should have...He may want to buy the punter some dinners now

Trashed him all last year as a potential bust, and still took him as my QB1 in my big money league, cuz i waited too long on a qb.

I don't wanna be right. Pls don't let me be right.
