I think he's still a decent play, but you're living on borrowed time. One bad game, or injury, and he could get Tyrod'ed.So I'm forced to play this guy due to all sorts of roster craziness. Can he keep it up and keep Bridgewater on the bench?
I'd be wary of starting him. Those two interceptions in the 2nd half vs Washington were brutal, just awful throws. Almost let Washington come back in the game and win it. Should be an interesting game.Just saw blurb said vikes were tempted to start Bridgewater against Rams. Not what I wanted to hear- makes me nervous to start him- if he has bad half could be yanked. Seems unfair but that’s the reality.
Personally, I think the Vikings resign him and Bridgewater. Bradford signs somewhere, possibly NY.Potential Rich Gannon career if he chooses wisely when he becomes a FA.
Thats kind of what I think may happen also.Personally, I think the Vikings resign him and Bridgewater. Bradford signs somewhere, possibly NY.
Keenum has really done nothing that warrants him being left unemployed, that's for sure.Thats kind of what I think may happen also.
Still depends on what happens for the rest of the year somewhat also, and of course money, but both QBs have reasons to want to stay with the Vikings.
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer wouldn’t commit to Case Keenum as his starter beyond next week.
Keenum has played good enough to not be benched, but remains on a short leash. Despite seven straight wins, he’s a bad week away from returning to a backup role. The Vikings view Teddy Bridgewater as their franchise quarterback and need to see Bridgewater post knee-surgery in a walk year. Keenum will start against the Falcons, but his job security is week-to-week.

Wow that was a long article, I got bored pretty quickly.
I think this article is biased and over analyzing Keenum. He is a great fit for the system he is in and making the most of it. I would try and keep Keenum if minny. Can they franchise him?Wow that was a long article, I got bored pretty quickly.
Will it be the same system if/when Shurmur leaves?I think this article is biased and over analyzing Keenum. He is a great fit for the system he is in and making the most of it. I would try and keep Keenum if minny. Can they franchise him?
Well probably not the same. But maybe they will run a similar offense with whoever replaces him? They are winning games. Are people in Minnesota frustrated by the offense and QB play? Will it be the same system if/when Shurmur leaves?
No. Arif just stirring the pot.Well probably not the same. But maybe they will run a similar offense with whoever replaces him? They are winning games. Are people in Minnesota frustrated by the offense and QB play?
You are probably right. I’m rooting for him to continue to do well, but he isn’t the type of guy I’d spend a lot of money on. Wouldn’t want him as my “franchise” qbhoffman0001 said:yawn....this guy caught lightning in the bottle. I'll bet good money he get's over paid and busts next year.
I would say Keenum is my biggest concern as a Vikings fan heading into the postseason. Based on the path in the NFC the only way I think the Vikings lose is if Keenum doesn't take care of the ball and turns it over a ton. If he takes care of the ball I believe they should make it through the NFC.

As long as he doesn't kneel during the anthem, he'll be making mid 8 figures next year.yawn....this guy caught lightning in the bottle. I'll bet good money he get's over paid and busts next year.
You could say you took a bunch of people to school. Because it took 4 years and at the end you're not sure if it's worth anything.I should share my football knowledge with you guppies more often but I prefer to profit and get them bags. Peace

4 years of stashing him and getting QB15 results gets you fired up? You must be downright estatic about Paul Richardson'd progress.I should share my football knowledge with you guppies more often but I prefer to profit and get them bags. Peace
Case Keenum was a great find in my 2QB league and grabbing him right after Bradford went down got me to the playoffs.4 years of stashing him and getting QB15 results gets you fired up? You must be downright estatic about Paul Richardson'd progress.
Yep. 3 and 4 TDs in those first two games helped me clinch a bye in the first round. Pretty good career for an undrafted free agent that no one in the FBG realm was talking about pre season except for Major.Below is your original quote in this thread, is this what you are bragging about?
If you want upside, grab Keenum in all dynasty/keeper leagues. I think TJ Yates is serviceable but a better #2. Keenum is the guy that could surprise in a big way. Just my 2 cents from an H-Town homer.

You guys should follow sport more closely...homey had some amazing games in 2013 out of the gate and a serviceable career that no one expected so yeah making that call gets me fired up. I don't play fantasy like I used to but he's made me a killing in Vegas. Thanks Case for helping me out on that Tesla. Peace4 years of stashing him and getting QB15 results gets you fired up? When your football knowledge plants the flag on "serviceable careers" that might speaks volumes. I'm sure Vegas has you on all their watch lists.
He spent his first year on the practice squad. Your schtick sucks.Major said:How about first year bruh? fake news? ...chop up stats to support your point. School girl stuff. I'm a big picture guy.
