Not saying bail on Jake, but he’s going to get hurt and Cincy needs a backup. Jameis could be a legit backup. He’s currently 3rd string in NY.

Oh, my bad. I thought it was being suggested that Bengals look to bring in someone else and bench Browning.

One big problem is that Minn and Den are very good defenses. Unfortunately for him Det is pretty close. I thought GB was too, but somehow DAL hung 40 on them. Things get a bit easier after that, but he may be benched by then.
 
Not much Browning can do with that line blocking. The line opens very few holes for Brown to run and he has very little time to throw. Cinci front office doesn't seem they found the right talent on the line yet.

Look at the bright side. At least Burrow can't get hurt any worse than he already is by playing behind that OL. Maybe they can fix it with the draft and free agency in the off-season.
 
Let Trey walk after the season and spend that $30M and find 2-3 starting quality G/C. Mims and Brown aren't world beaters but Burrow/Browning have no choice but to drop back deep in the pocket with the push DL is getting up front, which lets the ends pin their ears back because they know where the QB will be.

Zac's answer: bubble screen to Chase. Umm Zac, the entire NFL knows this and have caught on. How bout on to Tee, or for heavens sake some crossing/slant routes.
