Why did Dart get taken out after that huge run on 4th down? Jameis comes in and throws a TD to Jalin Hyatt.

Refs took Dart off the field because he hit his head hard on the turf at the end of the run. He was being checked for a concussion

Did he fumble or was it a recovery?

I think he fumbled and NE recovered the fumble but there was a penalty against NE on the play so the Giants got the ball back.

I wrote this in the game-thread after the first drive:

Jaxon Dart looked really good on the Giants first drive...definitely sense an "it" factor with him...thought that was an excellent trade for the Giants when they did it...if it works out, they get their QB of the future while still getting Carter and not having to use their #1 next year...could really change that franchise.

I will add he did nothing but continue to impress...he had some absolutely beautiful throws that were dropped (I believe by Hyatt) and the kid has legit athleticism...in SF he is a guy to target now while the price should be somewhat reasonable...watching the game I got the sense his teammates (and the fans) are all in on him...after the failed Daniel Jones experiment the Giant fans have to be excited.

loving what I've seen so far and all the confirmation bias. In a soft rebuild in a 2 QB keeper league. I traded up to get him in the 4th round a few days ago, and if he hits that should get me back on track next year.

Jaxson Dart's big time throw rate last night was 25%. He had 3 BTT in just 12 attempts.

For reference, Tua had 11 all last season on 399 attempts (11 games).
