I don't think Stefanski runs a Pete Carroll-esque meritocracy. The 4th & 5th round rookies will be fighting for table scraps in camp not contending for the starting job.

I think the Browns are probably hoping for a QB injury to another team so they can flip one of their QBs for a late draft pick. If that doesn't happen, I now think Flacco will probably end up the odd man out.

Seriously? What would cause "limited reps"? I can't have QBs throwing to 3rd string WRs? I can't have multiple guys throwing in parallel? I can't have half the team in the morning and the other half in the afternoon? Where does this "limit" come from? Just design a system where they all throw a ton. How hard is that?

I can't have half the team in the morning and the other half in the afternoon? Where does this "limit" come from? Just design a system where they all throw a ton. How hard is that?

If you think you can evaluate relatively inexperienced professional quarterbacks by watching them throw 2-4x less balls than their contemporaries to guys in t-short and shorts that will be pursuing sales jobs in a couple months, then you should put an application in the NFL.

Honestly, I like that move a lot by the Raiders. Pickett is a better QB than he gets credit for, he's got a 15-10 career record, he doesn't turn the ball over, and he's mostly had NFL-worst playcalling, a far cry from Chip Kelly.

Frankly, I think he's an upgrade from O'Connell. Maybe he can be salvaged like Geno was?

Liking what the Raiders have been doing today, adding Cooper and Pickett.

I am in the minority here but I think Flacco misses out. They wont learn anything by playing him and they wont make the playoffs either. I am not a Flacco hater , but given they have 2 questions of rookie picks on the roster you kind of have to see if Pickett can make it or not.

I'd honestly be pretty surprised if they don't just keep all 4 guys.

How hilarious would it be if they put Dillon or Sanders on taxi and they got scooped by another team? Being Cleveland...I could totally see them thinking one of them would be safe on their taxi.

Gabriel's probably safe on the practice squad.

But if they put Gabriel on the TS, wouldn't that make CLE look bad? And then if he weren't picked up by another team? We all probably assume Sanders WOULD be stolen if they put him on the TS. So CLE is damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Everything is likely to sort itself out during camp. Someone will get injured or something. Someone else will show themselves too this or too that. I'm not worried about having too many starters.
