Question - What's the best way for a group of friends in different locations to watch an event like the NFL Draft?

Is it just a zoom call? Better ideas?

Much thanks.

Whatever you do make sure you guys are on the same media. If one guys streams while the other is watching on Fios. Streaming dude will be about 106 seconds behind Fios dude.

You talking about streaming the media to a common channel where everyone can chat over it? Twitch maybe?

You talking everyone tunes in to ESPN at home and uses a program to chat together? Zoom. But as stated before, some folks will be ahead and some behind.

Good call. Maybe have one person stream it and share their screen from one phone/ tablet while doing the zoom from another.

Can you do a zoom where you get a cell phone at one of the houses pointed at the TV so that it technically is a "participant" ?

I would recommend having that phone or other computer in a separate room f the house, bc if the steams are too close to each other you'll get feedback and echo.

Does anyone have a slingbox or stream live TV though their computer. Make that computer the host and share their screen?
