Raiders at Colts Week 4 Thread (1 Viewer)

Raiders take the field at their 10 after a 46 yard punt.

1st and 10, nice throw to the outside for Jacobs who leaked out of the flat for 9.

2nd and 1, Raiders in the I, Jacobs with great blocking from Incognito and Ingold and bursts right up the middle for a solid gain for a 1st.

Catch and run for 20 yards to Jacobs on the first, Jacobs up blocking hard for the first half of the play, left open over the middle for the catch.

1st and 10 from the 49, no gain on a rush for Jacobs.

2nd and 10, Washington in for Jacobs, splits wide left for a quick swing pass that is stuffed at the line.

3rd and 9, Trent Brown out of the game with a finger issue. Richard in backfield. Carr with a nice pass to avoid pressure to the left sideline but Gathers/Ya Sin stop the play shy of the first.

Raiders going for it 4th and 1. Brown heads to locker room. Out of the I, Carr trying to draw Colts offside, TO Raiders.

1st and 10 on the 41. Washington wrapped up on an inside run right for a gain of 1.

2nd and 9. Carr out of the gun, RIchard on a pull across the field for a gain of 1.

3rd and 8. Carr out of the gun wtih back split left. Carr coverts to Ty Williams on a slant for 18, flag thrown on the Colts. Good conversion.

1st and 10 on the 21. DeAndre Washington with a strong 8 yard run up the middle, good burst to get to the second level.

2nd and 3 Raiders pound the ball out of the I, Washington for 6 down to the Colts 8. Ingold doing really well blocking.

1st and 10 from the 8. Raiders run again, Washington with a stutter hesitation waiting for a block that never surfaces, no gain.

2nd and goal, I formation. Fake handoff Carr rolls right to run back to LOS.

3rd and goal, Raiders 4/6 on 3rd down. Gun back split right. Carr had Williams on a low dart that was slightly behind, Williams looked like he still could have caught that on his back shoulder, right through his hands for an incomplete.

Raiders kick the 26 yard FG, 24-10. Could have/should have been 28-10, but I'll take the lead extension against Brisset, who can be dangerous.

Raiders boot the ball through the EZ. 1st and 10 Colts at the 25.

Single back set, Mack dances left for a gain of 3.

2nd and 6, two TE set. Wilkins takes that handoff up the middle and hit by Morrow for a gain of 1.

3rd and 5 out of gun, Brissett hits Campbell on a shallow cross left to right for 7 yards and the first down.

1st and 10 on the 38. Fake handoff, Brissett going way deep and overthrows everyone, Campbell deep not exactly expecting the ball down there.

2nd and 10, handoff to Wilkins for 3, stoped by Cory Liuget.

3rd and 7, Colts in gun. Trying to target Ebron on a middle cross, pass a little too far out front, skips off Ebron's outstretched fingers.

Punt.

2nd and 8, hands off to Jacobs over right tackle for 2.

3rd and 6, Raiders in the gun. Quick hook pass to Moreau with a great catch to convert.

1st and 10 from the 18, reverse to Davis, nothing there, so reverses again and picks up 14 the other way to the 32. Wow, got lucky.

1st and 10 Raiders at the 32. Jacobs with no room to run as Okereke gets into the backfield for a tackle for a 3 yard loss.

2nd and 14. Lots of movement in Raider backfield, get the snap off, Carr just avoids a sack to hit Doss on a medium cross for 14 and a first down. Doss's first NFL catch.

1st and 10 on the 42, Washington with an inside run for 1.

2nd and 9 fake hand off, bad throw behind Waller for incomplete.

3rd and 9, Carr with an inside handoff out of the backfield to Richard for 1 -- looked disorganized and a bad play call for that down/distance. Punt.

Colts 1st and 10 on the 10. Fake pitch right, throwing right in the flat but Raiders all over it, Joyner with a good knifing tackle for a loss.

2nd and 12 quick slant to Hines to the 17. Flag on Raiders, 12 men on field, declined.

3rd and 2, Maxx Crosby stuffs Hines on a run at the middle, no gain!

Thanks for the play-by-play Stompin' Tom.  Great feature for folks interested and unable to watch.  Bri does this with the Titans' games, would be nice if we had folks doing it for all of them.

Brissett with a dump-off over the middle to Hines in space, runs for 14.

Colts in the hurry up offense. Eric Harris with a big tackle on the wheel route to Hines for a yard gained.

2nd and 9, Maxx Crosby with this second batted down pass!

3rd and 9 Colts at their own 37. Wilkins in the backfield. Brisset has time, finds Pascall with a huge catch on a laser throw for the first down.

1st and 10 throw to Wilkins for the first. Colts inside the 30.

Another first, Brissett can't find anyone, runs left out of the pocket for 8 yards.

Raider TO, their second. Colts threatening.

Colts, 2nd and 2 on the Raider 20.

Raider D gassed. Brisset fakes the hand off and just gets the first down on a scamper to the left sideline. Looks like a flag on the D with a facemask on Brissett, but Brissett was returning the favor.

1st and goal on the 10. Raiders in nickel. Brisset with a quick pass to Cain right that's broken up Conley, but another flag on the Raiders for holding gives up half the distance.

1st and goal on the 5. Brissett tries to hit Doyle on a sit down route on the goal line, broken up.

2nd and goal Brissett still in gun. Back corner fade for Cain, Joyner in coverage, pass floated high with good coverage.

3rd and goal, Brissett leaks out right and finds Rodgers out of the slot to the flat for a 4 yard TD.

XP good, 24-17.

Kickoff is a touchback, Raiders take the ball on their 25.

1st down, Raiders take a false start. Dammit, this team is so undisciplined, year after year after year. Getting loud in Indianapolis.

1st and 15, Jacobs with an outside run, fantastic blocking by Hudson and the rest of the pulling linemen, and Jacobs with a fantastic move in the second tier for a big 16 yard run for first down.

Raiders 1st and 10 on the Colts' 36 against a nickel D.

Another false start against on the Raiders, this one on Miller, 5 yard penalty. 10 flags on the game agaisnt the Raiders.

1st and 15, Jacobs run through right B gap, gets hit but breaks a tackle and scampers for 8.

2nd and 7, Jacobs again with a skip step up the middle for a few.

3rd and 5, huge down for the Raiders. Carr in the gun, back split left. ANOTHER flag. False start on right side of the line ARGHHHH

3rd and 10 from the Colts' 35. Carr nto finding anyone with a desperate throw to Waller for a middle screen, Colts all over it, Autry and Shear with the tackle. Punt.

Brissett drops back, hits Rodgers but he's hit hard by Morrow with a clean tackle in the gut, incomplete.

Rodgers down and being looked at, Colts was a MASH unit coming into this game, and not getting better with the injuries in-game.

S Eric Harris with a great move, not sure Brissett ever saw him peel off covering the TE to jump inside.

Raider D stepped up huge in this game, and right there at a key moment in the game.

Raiders most points scored on the road since 2016.

STC's game ball goes to the D (minus Burfict).

If I'm Gruden, I'm running the offense on wind sprints for all the laundry they earned.

Dump off to Hines for an 11 yard gain negated for illegal man downfield, on the center.

1st and 15, Colts on their 20. Brissett with time tries to find another receiver on the left sideline, nearly picked off again, this time by Worley.

2nd and 15, long toss to Pascal for 28 for the first, Colts take the ball at the 48.

Pass to Doyle for a gain of 4.

2nd and 6 Colts over midfield. Brissett hit as he throws by Crosby, Mo Hurst also in on the play. Hurst looks a little dinged on the play.

3rd and 6 on the 52. Brisset with a rope throw to PAscal, Conley with great coverage, Pascal called with a flag for PI for pushing off.

Ball on 48, 4th and 6. 1:19 to go.

Gun, back split right. Brissett avoids a sack on a blitz, finds Ebron deep, broken tackles and Ebron rumbles to the EZ, TD!

Getting interesting here.

HUGE win for the Raiders, first in IND since 2001. Deserved for their defensive performance holding the early lead and opportunistic pick 6.

For the Colts, they can hold their head up high, they were battered coming into this game, and became more of a war of attrition as the game went on. And they still put themselves in a position to be in the game right until the end.
