Ran a 10k in June (11 Viewers)

Yeesh, I haven't been here in about a year??!! Time sure flies when you're having fun...or not. lolTrained for and ran the inaugural Mankato (MN) Marathon on Oct 23, and that's about it on this end. Ran an ok-for-me 4:46:45, slowed and beat up by some killer hills. Fortunately I trained on some hills, or I might still be out on the course. :PGetting fairly well-settled into my new hometown, learning my way around, been here two years now.I'll try not to be such a stranger anymore.
Good to see you. How is everything on the home front?

Nice to hear from you again RS.

No run tonight, but I did workout. My wife got Walk It Out for the Wii for her birthday this year and I have been using it on my non running days. According to the game I did 3.2 miles today.

Looking forward to my 2 miler tomorrow.

I needed a little running motivation today so I downloaded and re-watched Without Limits. It is still one of my favorite running movies.

Not much going on here. Swim yesterday - 2k yards. Same times as has been typical. Hard bike trainer session last night. Had to do 5 x 1 minute intervals at 320 watts (1 minute break). Tough. Next week same set, but at 335. I might just puke before the session and get it over with.

Ran 4 miles tonight. Two at ~9:15 running with friends. Booked it home with 2 miles at 7:20 apiece. Felt pretty good.

PMB –good to hear you are cranking out the miles again. Hope your cold goes away. Also – I sent the $100 Bourbon Chase check this a.m.
Miles are coming few and far between, but I will get there. I will look for the check. I was getting ready to send out an APB for you to make sure you were still around.Still waiting to get something/hear something from Dexter on money. He said he was sending back on the 12th, but I have not received/heard anything from him since.
So we're 11/12 on the money right now? That's actually pretty good. :lmao: Is your friend definitely the 12th guy?
I think we are 11/12 on the money. My buddy is definitely the 12th guy. I need to send him an email to have him get me a check. I have not received a check from Dexter or The_Man yet, but both have said they are sending. I believe The_Man's check was in the mail yesterday.I need to get PSL to get me the rest then I can make the final payment.

---------------------

Got out yesterday and did a pretty good 5 miler. I went a little quicker and faded at the end. I still have a ton of crap in my lungs so I am working that out of there and hopefully on the fast track of getting better.

Have a great day all.

Welcome back, RoarinS! Prosopis, nice to see you're adding some speed work! You're making a lot of improvement.

Like Nigel, I had a 6 mile tempo run this week, also at a 7:48/mile pace. Today will be squats/lunges, then I'm off to Atlanta until Sunday (first residency program as part of my doctoral studies). I'm staying near enough to Piedmont Park that I plan to get in some runs in that area ...hopefully finish the week with 30 miles completed. I'll build from there, then, with formal marathon training kicking in on 12/13.

BTW, if you can do a 6-mile training run at 7:48, I think you will blow away a 23:00 5k. Remind me, are you in Boston? I’m going there to my mother-in-law’s for Thanksgiving and was thinking about doing a 5K in Brighton on Thanksgiving morning. Let me know if you’re doing a race – maybe I’ll join you.
Yeah, I'm in Arlington. I'll probably do the 5K in Watertown run out of Donohues. Let me know if you're up for it.
That looks great. Just 2 or 3 miles from my MIL's. I might even be able to jog over there as a warm-up. Let me check with my wife (she might want to do it also) and I'll let you know tomorrow. But I'm probably in.
cool - potentially my 2nd cornhole, I promise to be gentle
This is my 1st. I'm excited, but nervous. But I'm in. I'm hoping taps will be open post-race. If you can't drink at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving after running a 5K, when can you drink at 9 a.m.?

Since I am now planning to run a 5k in a week, I added a little tempo run to my post-marathon recovery today. Two miles at 8:03 to start, then one at 7:45, then one at 7:10 to finish.

Feeling better every day. Plus I got spousal clearance for my plan to train for a mid-May BQ attempt.

But I'm in. I'm hoping taps will be open post-race. If you can't drink at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving after running a 5K, when can you drink at 9 a.m.?
Per routine, I'm going there for today their Thursday $5.99 boiled dinner lunch special. I'll confirm the beer situation but I'm almost certain it will flow.

Great. If it's not too much trouble, see if you can find out anything about the kids fun run. It's referred to on the Facebook event page, but I can't find any other info. My 8-year-old wants to run something, but she's not quite ready for a 5K, so I don't want to mention it to her if that's the only kids option.

I can already answer this one. Right after the 5K goes off there is a race around a few blocks for the kids - I'm guessing a 1/2 mile or so. So really you would need an adult to be there who isn't running the 5K.

N00B question for you running experts.

I ran 3.5 miles this morning on my treadmill, and then consumed a large amount of water, two bananas and hit the couch for some t.v. About an hour in, my wife begs me to run with her outside for her run (3 miles) and I begrudgingly accept. It was a tough run...stomach cramps and constant head wind but I pulled it off.

I now have an irritating pain above my left knee cap (runners knee??) that is noticeable coming down the stairs.

I am guessing running that second time after only having an hour to recover has something to do with my knee pain and probably wasn't the best idea?? My shoes are a good pair of Saucony's that were fitted at a running store ($100.00).
Do you normally run 6.5 miles at a time? A one hour rest does nothing to reduce the pounding your body takes over that distance, so if you're sore or suffering knee pain, the reason is probably because you ran twice as as far as what you're comfortable with. The stomach cramps were probably just caused by the bananas not having time to digest properly. That's a pretty easily-digestable food for most people, but if you ran, then ate a fair amount, and then went out to run again, that would strain my GI system too.

Nice job all the way around! I'm still on the sidelines with this ankle thing. It seems to be getting a little better, but after playing with my kids for an hour last night it was really unhappy. I don't dare get on the bike yet and I'm even nervous about how it will feel in the pool. I suppose there are worse things than taking a full week (or so) off. But I'm already anxious to get back out there!

I have molded myself in to quite the tub of goo over the last 6 weeks. I am keeping up very well with maintenance workouts, but have been eating and drinking like I was working out at mid summer level and can't shake my bacon and peanut M&M addictions. Travelling for work and the meetings involved are not helping. In a less than 24 hour period while out of town Tuesday to Wednesday my food intake was: an 8" Buffalo Chicken Grinder, three huge slices of mega meaty pizza washed down with some red micro brews, a NutriGrain bar and another Grinder, this time BLT. I was dragging ### so bad last night I was very close to skipping swimming. Instead, I punished myself with my first 2,500 yard swim since early June. The kicker, was that I did it all in one set and in about 45 minutes. I need to knock off the bad food a bit and focus more on good workouts or the holidays will be a crusher as my weight goes.

RS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great to hear from you!

2Young: I'm in the same boat. I've been eating very impressive quantities of food, and have been using tasty beverages to help wash them down. It's never too early to start plumping up for the holidays!

I got in a decent 2,200 yesterday (100, 500, 1000, 500, 100). My arms were extremely sore from starting to lift this week, so it was a struggle, but I still kept every 50 under 1:00. I'm happy with that.

Right there with you guys. I was a few pounds over race weight for Veterans, and now I'm a few pounds over that. Like 2Young said, having been on the road for basically the last six days hasn't helped, either. Time to buckle down. Legs are feeling great post-race, almost to the point where I think I didn't push hard enough. Maybe could've shaved a couple minutes off my time. Oh, well, nothing I can do about it now. Did a couple easy miles on Monday morning, 4 on Tuesday, and another 4 this morning. Might double up tonight.

Memphis half is 12/4, and I'm definitely gonna shoot for the PR, which means something faster than 6:42 pace. Then it's on to the next sub-3 attempt at Boston. Biggest part, I think, is convincing myself that it's do-able. To quote R. Kelly (ha!), "If I just believe it, there's nothing to it."

Hope all is well with everybody! Wraith, hope the ankle feels better!!

Fixed.Usually I don't pass out on the couch in a food/drink coma on Thanksgiving until the late football game. But this year, I might just beat the rush and stake out a good snoozing spot during the Macy's parade.

For my wife's b-day last week I bought her (us :lmao: ) the Garmin 405 CX and have used it on my last few runs. Wow - it adds a whole new level of interest/addiction/analysis/fun to this. I've never paid any attention to heart rate or elevation changes and never really had a good record of splits unless I happened to look at my crappy watch at the right times and then managed to remember what the times were afterwards. Anyway, I know most of you guys seem to have them but I'm like a giddy kid with a new toy. Only problem is it's not technically mine, so she has first dibs on it. She thinks it's ridiculous for me to get my own, but damn it, I want it for all my runs. Anyone else have to share theirs? :useless: I've had some solid runs the past few days. I did 6 on Sat, averaged 7:48s with the last three combined being about a minute less than the first three. Took Sunday off, did kind of an easy 24:00 min treadmill 3 miler on Monday, then took the Garmin to work yesterday and knocked this out:1 00:07:44 1.00 07:44 2 00:07:27 1.00 07:27 3 00:07:16 1.00 07:16 4 00:07:50 1.00 07:49 Summary 00:30:19 4.00 07:34 avg hr 166max 177The route was super flat. My intent heading out was to go easy on the first and last miles, with a hard two in between. My first was much faster than intended, and then I felt good and decided to push the last a bit more than I planned. During the run I also noted when I hit the 5K mark to see where I am as far as hitting the sub 23:00 goal I've set for my race 12/19, I was at 23:19. The race course is much hillier but I'm feeling pretty good about where I am. I might even try to jump in a Thanksgiving morning 5K for a test run.
Welcome to a whole new world of over analyzing, brother! It's a great tool for helping control pace. It's done wonders for someone like me that's an impatient runner.Killer 4 miler! That's a great time - you'll blast that next 5K.

Gru - Have you thought about building a training and race plan around a 2:55 marathon? That would be a 6'40" pace which would give you a cushion to throttle back to 7'00" miles in the second half and still break 3 hrs.Holy moly...a sub 3 hr marathon is fast.

Ned – you’re going to kill that HM. Your progress has been fantastic. Have a great race and be ready to get goaded into signing up for a full marathon shortly after you share your RR. Just remember: don’t go out too fast. You can’t do anything in the first mile or two that guarantees a good race, but you can do something that guarantees a bad one.
Thanks The_Man! You've been one of the biggest helps to me throughout all this and really appreciate it. I'm really itchin' to go!!I slacked yesterday and skipped a 30min tempo run, but I have a good excuse. I'm off this week again for deer hunting, and had all intentions to run after I was done with the afternoon hunt. I won't bore you with the details (I don't think we have any hunters here), but I shot a dandy last night. A truly once in a lifetime deer for me. I spent all night with friends/family recounting the hunt and showing him off. Coupled with picking up our dog at the vet (with a buck in the truck  ) I had a jam packed night and couldn't get the run in. Here's a pic if anyone's interested - there's blood, so for you weak stomach guys don't look. link

Today's my last training run - a short 2 miler. Tomorrow and Saturday are scheduled off days. It's almost go time, fellas.

Quick running aectdote: I went to high school with Mark Coogan. We only overlapped a year but we were on the same basketball team. Anyway, he went on to be a world class runner and made it to the Atlanta Olympics as a marathoner. I was just looking at all of his PRs for various distances through the years today and the ####### guy once ran a 13:48 5K. Even moreso than the marathons he ran (PR is something like 2:13) that 5K time just blows my mind.

Quick story about him. He was never a runner beore HS but our hoops coach made everyone do a spring sport. First freaking HS track meet he ever participated in he ran a sub-5 min. mile. :goodposting: Later in his career he went under 4 but damn, that first one just shows that some guys are born to run.

I'm a "new" hunter, as last year was my first year, but I'll be back at it this year. That's a fine looking buck, and looks like a great shoulder shot  = sausage for a year!!!It is almost Go Time, and you are going to crush it :boxing:

I am sure that you are going to just fabulous. But I can't believe you killed Bambi's daddy.Good I am tired of those mother ####ers running out in front of my truck. Almost hit one last year.

Did two miles again today. Just one more week of those then I am going to start increasing my mileage. Though I am going to keep my long runs at about 10K for 4 or 5 months.

I felt good when I went out and finished the first mile feeling great. The second mile I lifted my legs up a bit, lengthened my stride, and got a little lean on and ran faster than I have for a long time. I know I could have done another mile at about the same pace.

Mile 1 10:02

Mile 2 9:19

9:41 average.

Here's a pic if anyone's interested - there's blood, so for you weak stomach guys don't look. link

Today's my last training run - a short 2 miler. Tomorrow and Saturday are scheduled off days. It's almost go time, fellas. :D
I am a hunter. Nice buck!!!!!!!

'Sup, homies?!

Since we can talk deer hunting, I hope it's OK to pose a quick FFB question. :goodposting: One of my two leagues is an old school Miller Lite TD-only league. It's a small, 8-man league, and points per TD depends on distance. TD from 9 yards or less gets six points, 10-39 gets nine points, and 40+ gets 12 points. That's it; there's no other scoring.

I've got a couple stud WRs, and then a bunch of late-round/free-agent, big-play types. I need to start THREE of these guys:

Andre Johnson, HOU @ NYJ (4 TDs scored this year, 13 passing TDs allowed YTD by Jets)

Calvin Johnson, DET @ DAL (9, 20)

Dwayne Bowe, KC vs. ARI (9, 14)

Mike Wallace, PIT vs. OAK (7, 16)

Brandon Lloyd, DEN @ SD (6, 8)

Considering Schaub's injury situation and the whole "Revis Island" thing, I was thing about going Calvin, Bowe, and Wallace, but it's pretty tough to sit Andre, and Lloyd has three TDs in his last two games. What do you guys think?

Wow.

Everybody must be busy running.....or hunting. ;)

Heading out now for 10-11 miles. Donning the tights for the first time this year.

I'd start Bowe, Calvin, and Lloyd. Lloyd is simply crushing things lately. As much of a stud as Wallace is, I don't think you can sit Lloyd.

You think Lloyd has a better chance of scoring? Oakland has allowed twice as many passing TDs as the Chargers.

Went in to Philly today to pick up my race packet after HUNTING today. :P Thank god I decided to do it today and not tomorrow when the majority of runners will be there. Center city is a friggin' zoo.

They have a great race guide and fold out map with things clearly marked. My wife, kids, and brother are all coming to watch so I'm relieved they have these things all mapped out so well. Looking at the pics on the guide from last year's run has me all sorts of geeked up. This is my first 'big race' and I can't wait. I'm thinking I may not be getting much sleep tomorrow night...

Bowe ticks me off - I couldn't start him over Wallace in that wacky format. I'd go Calvin, Lloyd, Wallace.

Denver is scoring points. Lloyd is getting lots of those. He is a top 3 guy this year - so I'm not sitting him under pretty much any conditions. IMO, of course.

It could be a church fund raiser 5K and I am still losing sleep!!!! Thats part of the fun. So cool to be north of 40 and still getting butterflies like I did when I played sports as a kid. You are set up for a great day Sunday.

With the exception of an emergency pit stop, had an awesome 11-miler. Hard to believe it's been less than a week since the marathon. Averaged 7:49 pace overall, but knocked out miles 8-11 at 7:37, 7:23, 7:22, and 7:23, respectively.

Going out with buddies both tonight and tomorrow night, and both figure to be late ones, so I decided that I'd better be proactive and get the long run out of the way. Tomorrow figures to be particularly fun, with all the deer hunting widows being out. Let the ;) begin.

Ned - Good luck this weekend!!

Wraith - Hope the foot feels better soon!

Later, dudes!!

Pretty lousy 10 today. I have something going on with my butt and hips, and had little twinges from start to finish even at a relaxed long-run pace. If I want to run Fargo in May, I have to start training in mid-January, and I just don't see that happening right now. I'm going to give it another week or two and then possibly look at PT and see what I need to do to clear this up.

3 miles at 10:08 this morning. Pretty easy run, though I was feeling it at the end.

First mile was 10:27 and the last two were both under 10.

Good luck again to all the racers, looking forward to reading RR.

6 miles today 11:27 pace. HR avg 151 with a max of 158.

I felt great doing this and feel I could go harder but I am sticking to the training plan. Great morning for it. I got out there before the sun came up. Saw a beautiful sunrise. Just me and my shadow on the desert dirt roads.

18 mile trail run today, ran with a group so slower than usual but a decent 10:30 pace overall and just an awesome way to spend a morning

I grabbed The Long Run: A New York City Firefighter's Triumphant Comeback from Crash Victim to Elite Athlete

http://www.amazon.com/Long-Run-Firefighter...6232&sr=1-1

I got it at the library. Pretty good read so far. Kind of hard to read about the injuries. Makes it worse hearing about how excited he was to be training for Boston and hoping to make it to Kona.
I finished this today. Really good book and dang the room gets dusty at parts. I did not realize he went on to complete an Iron Man after his accident  Any way excellent book reccomendation from Prosopis.

6 mile dreadmill run last night. 5 mile run in very nice weather this morning. 26 miles for the week, I think (which is a good bit for me).

I expect a 30+ mile week next week as I'll be traveling and I'll have lots of empty country roads to run on.

Nice

Only 2 miles this morning, and I wanted to do them easy and comfortable. At one point in time easy and comfortable was right at 10 minute miles, last spring it was nearly 12 m/m.

Mile 1 - 11:24

Too damn easy, so I picked it up a bit for mile 2.

10:03

I was breathing hard at the end but it was back to normal inside of 50 walking steps.

only 1 more week before I start increasing my mileage.

ETA: I just discovered I averaged 10:01 m/m for the 9.09 miles this week.

Sorry this got super long winded, but I have so many thoughts running through my head that I don't want to forget... Skip to the bottom if you want to just see the final results

2010 Philly Half Marathon

Overall Thoughts: I couldn't be more proud right now. I've come a long way in a short time and still don't believe this is all real. Thinking back to the start - It's February and I was a fat lazy slob who lost my breath chasing the kids around at the Camden Aquarium (that day was my wake-up call). Running a mile wasn't even a thought last year, let alone a HM. 13.1? yeah right!! I dove into P90x on 2/13/10, then to Insanity, and then to the Higdon Intermediate HM Plan to get me to where I'm at today. This race was so much more than just a race for me. It was a major milestone in a bigger journey to getting really fit. I don't ever want to go back to that day at the Aquarium!!!

Pre-race: I was a complete mess last night. Between obsessing about the run and trying to devise a final plan of attack for parking, I had about all I could take. I finally found a great little parking spot about a half mile from the start and lined up a few backups in case that lot was full. After having a crazy time getting parked to pick up my packet on Friday, I was really nervous about the possible disaster for Sunday morning.

Physically, I felt good. A tad sleep deprived due to all the hunting this week, but I felt fresh overall. Hell even my nipples were fully healed for the first time in months. Thankfully with the lack of sleep from hunting, I slept like a rock last night. Up at 4:30 (god that 7AM start sucks hard) and jumped right out of bed. The wife, kids, and brother were all set to leave at 5:10 which was a minor miracle in itself. Halfway to the race and my wife goes "OMG - We forgot the kids' shoes!!!" OOOOF. Sorry guys! Thankfully we decided to bring the double stroller in case the 4yr old decided he had enough walking between spectator points. It was so cold this morning that they stayed bundled up in blankets in the stroller for the entire race. Whew...

Major kudos to the race planners on their placement and number of porto pots. There were a ton of them and seemed to be placed at the perfect spots. Lines were relatively short at 6:15, so I dove in and did my thing then. A Gu and 12oz Gatorade at 6:30 and I went for my warm-up run. It was very cool running past the art museum steps (the famous Rocky steps)! It was also the split for the full and half marathoners. I couldn't imagine a better monument to have near the finish than those steps.

The plan was to follow the 5-5-5 with a goal time of 1:55 (down from my original 2:00). I was shooting to negative split it using these intervals with targets of 44mins and 43 minutes for the two 5 mile chunks and then unclipping the leash for the final 5K (depending on how well I felt). The 44/43 left me 28mins for the final 5k - a pretty good cushion even if I didn't feel that great.

The Race: I was in the Grey corral, which was right in the middle of it all. My only gripe about the entire race was the flags marking the corrals. They were small 3' x 3' flags posted right along the tree line that was lining the start. It was hard to see them for first timers, like myself, that didn't know what to look for. Even after a good bit of map study all last week, it still took me a while to figure out exactly where I was supposed to be. Checking bib colors was a waste of time as everyone seemed to be in the wrong corral. :loco:

First 5 miles (43:30 - 9:07, 8:40, 8:24, 8:39, 8:37): I was much calmer than I thought I was going to be while waiting to get to the actual starting line. 17 minutes after the elite runners took off, I was crossing the line. Wow - I had chills. And it wasn't from the 38 degree temps. :goodposting: The number of runners was a bit overwhelming, but we all kept a decent pace as we started out and was much better than I was expecting. My wife, kids, and brother were at the very start around 0.7 and I got chills again seeing them there. So moving I can't describe it. There wasn't much else noteworthy about this first 5 with the exception that it was a bit too easy. And that freaked me out. I was ahead of plan, and I was feeling like I had only ran a mile. This was a relatively flat piece with a few small inclines thrown in. I took my Gu at mile 5 and washed it down with a quick water at the water station about a tenth later - 2Y2BB - THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS!!

Second 5 miles (42:20 - 8:50, 7:50, 8:34, 8:21, 8:42): My god my pacing was all over the place here. The first mile of this piece had my Gu and water break, but woops I think I got sucked into the flow of the runners and let my pace fall a bit. I checked the watch as it auto-lapped at 6.0 and saw an overall average of 8:44. I admit it.... I panicked. 8:44 seemed really bad at the time, even though that was right below my goal of 1:55. :bag: I don't know why I panicked, but I did. After that 7:50 for mile 7 I panicked again for the opposite reason. I knew I couldn't hold that pace 6 more miles so I tried to throttle it back. At around 6.5 thru 10.0 was the majority of the hills and they took their toll on me as I hit the biggest climb of the day at 9.1. As much as it hurt, I recovered from the climb pretty quickly which was a huge confidence booster. I thought to myself "you just climbed a pretty good hill after already running 9 miles and then recovered like it never happened. Drop the hammer already!"

Final 5K (8:04, 8:10, 8:16, 1:32): My last split was 1:32 because the Garmin had me at a total of 13.23 miles. Did I really run an extra .13 miles from all the traffic weaving??? This last piece was relatively flat with the exception of a decent climb at 12.0-ish. It wasn't the biggest hill in the world, but it was big enough to put a hurt on me. I learned on this last piece that my cardio is so much further ahead of my legs. I was doing everything I could to make my legs go faster, but they just didn't have it. Mentally and cardio-wise I felt like I had sub-8's left in me, but my legs disagreed. My quads were pretty well shot, but I kept thinking to myself "brain is stronger than my legs" and just pushed the entire 5K. When I made the turn towards the 'rocky steps', I was siked. I friggin' did it!! I went to a dead sprint for the final 3 tenths or so and just held on for dear life. I didn't care if I collapsed at the end. I was going to squeeze every second out of this that I could. Passing under the archway they had set up at the end was phenomenal. I fully admit it - I got a tad choked up when I finished and walked thru the chutes towards the food area. Holy crap - I just ran a half marathon!

Total unofficial time - 1:51:54 (8:27 avg)!!!!!!! I was doing the math in my head the entire time of the 5K and knew a 1:52 was going to be close. It's more of a mental thing, but I hope my official time is under that 1:52 mark as it was a big carrot for me during that last 5K. I could taste it and WANTED IT. My average HR was 175 with a max of 191. Just like the 10K, my HR was elevated when compared to my normal training runs. I never dipped below 170 after mile 3. Yikes.

By the numbers: I'm a numbers geek and thought about this while we were driving back from the race and thought it was pretty cool...

281 days since my first day of P90x

39lbs lost

82 runs

316.8 training miles

Ned,

I got chills from reading that. Congratulations! You killed that HM just like you killed Bambi's dad. You had an amazing training cycle and clearly have some natural running talent that you've only just begun to tap. What a great effort.

Take a couple of days off, enjoy all you've accomplished. And then ... start looking at your next HM or even taking on a full marathon. I have no doubt you can handle it.

Congratulations again. Really great stuff.

or a trail 1/2 or full, or an ultra or a triathlon........ The sky is the limit!!! Way to go NED! Great write up that reminded me very much of my 1st 1/2.

I love this part of the race. After the nerves of the days before you get to the start line and things slow down and you settle into the zone. I live for that ####.

Just killer, man. You've come a long way. The fun part is just starting!
or a trail 1/2 or full, or an ultra or a triathlon........
LOL - Dude, you're just evil. :excited: -----

On my end, this is my fourth straight day running - got 5 miles done today with 700+ feet of climbing. I felt wiped out during and after this. Dragged my sorry butt home averaging 8:45s.

31 miles over the last 8 days. Still planning on hitting 35+ this week with an 8-8-8 stint over the Thanksgiving holiday period. Its gonna be spectacular running weather down here. 40s and 50s at the end of this week.
