BNB and Duck - Great write ups! I was in awe reading both. I feel like such a ##### complaining about my training now.
Ned - nice run. 6:35 @ mile 6? damn!
Set out to do 3 easy miles yesterday after a long run on Sunday and my knee started bugging me right away. I couldn't even finish the 3 miles (decided to shut it down around 2.5). Really bummed with my 10k coming up next week. Feels better after a lot of stretching/rolling last night but I'll probably take at least today off and see what happens. I thought I was putting this issue behind me and boom it pops right back up. Frustrating.

Great way to enjoy my cup of coffee this morning reading that.Just flat out awesome stuff.
I had so much left in the tank, I decided to let it all hang out on the last mile for ####s and giggles. I was cruising along and day dreaming when I looked down and saw I was at 5.05 already. Oh crap, let's go. I opened it up and focused on keeping the HR above 180. I'll let the data tell the rest...
Extremely enjoyable read. Great work on your part for your buddy.

But I wanted to beat the coming heat and to get another speed session in before next week's race, so I figured my legs will just have to HTFU and deal with it.
