Yeesh, this has been a

week from Hell. Forgot my wallet Monday *and* Tuesday, so I couldn't get gas for the car when the indicator went off. Slunk home on Tuesday (watching the gas gauge go lower and lower as we sat in traffic) to get the wallet and other stuff, then it was off to my daughter's orchestra concert at school.
Six blocks from a gas station, it runs out!

I manage to push it downhill for about a block, then it's back to an uphill leg. :crap: As I'm thinking about asking someone to push my car with theirs, my
Dentist just happens to be passing by and helps me out. lol So with a little gas in the tank, I fill up at the station and then it's off to the concert. We get there just as the 4th Graders are finishing, and my daughter jumps into her place with the 5th Graders.

Also on Tuesday, sans wallet, I wasn't able to hit the ATM to pay for a holiday luncheon at work, so I had to hit up my officemate (I hate borrowing money/stuff, cuz then paying them back is just one more thing on a freaking long to-do list). I also had written a check for my daughter's lunch card at school, but forgot to give it to her when I dropped her off. So, I had to make an extra trip (burning more of the gas I barely had) to turn it in at lunchtime.
So, with concerts and weather and hectic-ouscity (yes, as a matter of fact, I *did* just make up that word), I blew off running Monday (and then a make-up run on Tuesday). It's been cold here (for you northerners, translate that as "freakin' hot!!" :X ), with rain, so the shirt was well-represented on Monday (early-morning run? screw it, it's too cold...late-evening run? screw it, it's too late/trying to rain/etc).
I squeezed in a run last night, but the shirt was still taunting me. I'm just about over a cold, so the cold air played a little havoc with some lingering chest congestion. I still have trouble staying in a lower gear, so I ran too fast and burned up my energy too quick, as usual. Add on to that having eaten only a couple hours before and still relatively full (mmmm, spaghetti), and I ended up only running 3mi instead of the intended 4mi.
Damn you, shirt!! :shakesfist:
