Finish Line does also.Fleet Feet has the same policy.
There probably is some legalese in there about how much they are worn but not positive of that.90 days? During marathon training shoes might not even last that long.

BUT I LOVE AMAZON.![]()
Running Warehouse next time. Same price, free shipping, BUT you can try the shoes for 90 days and send back if they aren't good. About the only place I've seen that lets you wear and run with shoes to see how they really feel and still be able to return.
There is, but it's supposedly only really enforced if it's egregious or a pattern is detected. There probably is some legalese in there about how much they are worn but not positive of that.
Yeah. My morning runs are going to be -28C (-18F) for a few days next week.MAC_32 said:but they said with very high confidence that arctic air will stay in Canada into next week and probably through it too.

I'd wait until 2/1 before quitting - all the resolutioners will be goneTrying to decide if the new gym is worth keeping. Went to swim this morning, the pool was packed.. With lanes that don't really allow sharing (entirely too narrow). I'll go in earlier tomorrow.
But i do enjoy the gym experience overall. It's not entirely necessary if not for the pool, the gym in the office has sufficient weights. But it is better.
Yeah, plus this gym opened the end of December. It's brand new, pretty nice. My concern will be when people leave other local gyms for this one.I'd wait until 2/1 before quitting - all the resolutioners will be gone
I'd like to "connect with us".Yeah, plus this gym opened the end of December. It's brand new, pretty nice. My concern will be when people leave other local gyms for this one.

Get it for her for her birthday and have her film a video about it.My wife wants to get a Peloton. I think it's probably a waste of money because she'll use it for a month, and then it will become a fancy clothes hanger. So we're getting a Peloton...
Maybe you'll use it upon occasion? I wouldn't buy one but if I had one I might start cross-training with it.I do, too. Always motivating to be around like-minded people.

I imagine I will. Especially days when I run in the morning and I'm sitting around bored at night. Could definitely see myself doing one of their low-impact 45-minute classes or something.Maybe you'll use it upon occasion? I wouldn't buy one but if I had one I might start cross-training with it.
This will blow Otis' mind.I imagine I will. Especially days when I run in the morning and I'm sitting around bored at night. Could definitely see myself doing one of their low-impact 45-minute classes or something.
6 months from now....Just knocked out a 2 hour session with Jessica online. Quads are really firing now. Cycling is my passion boys...
I mean, have you SEEN some of those trainers?!6 months from now....
It was a sad day when their pictures were removed from logged strava activitiesI mean, have you SEEN some of those trainers?!![]()
I like my trainer, would probably like it more with videos of the instructorsI imagine I will. Especially days when I run in the morning and I'm sitting around bored at night. Could definitely see myself doing one of their low-impact 45-minute classes or something.
The competitive element is cool, too. I've got at least 3-4 friends with Peloton bikes who ride regularly. It would be cool to "meet up" for the 6pm class with Jess, for example, and then you can see on the live leaderboard which of us is "winning."I like my trainer, would probably like it more with videos of the instructors

speaking of which, I mentioned that I left early from the 5k on Saturday... wasn't sure what I got for winning my AG but there is a medal for winning it. I have no real use for it but you better believe I'm going to go pick that up tomorrow after my doctor's appointment! You? Competitive?
Nah.
The treadmill we got that my wife wanted was used once. I attempted to move it to my garage and caused extensive damage to the door frame and surrounding walls. So, it’s still in my spare room and I have to look at it every day.I do, too. Always motivating to be around like-minded people.

How's the compression sock working?speaking of which, I mentioned that I left early from the 5k on Saturday... wasn't sure what I got for winning my AG but there is a medal for winning it. Speaking of that appointment - it's with Ortho-Indy to have the cyst like thing on my shin checked out. It's still been giving me problems off and on. Nothing debilitating but definitely gets my attention some days when I'm out there. We'll see what they say.
It still counts. Nice work.It is 46F here in the morning lately and I stay on the treadmill inside
I don't, but the usual should work:Hey fellas. Anyone deal with shin splints? I started slowly running again in October (35miles) and was feeling good and hit 85 miles in November. Obviously I was too aggressive and developed a shin splint. I took December off and have run a few 2-3 mile runs so far. It still feels tight and hurts a bit and seems to disappear after a mile or so.
No. I tried one morning when it was like 80 degrees and raining. I did a quarter mile then went and suffered in the swamp. You never get tempted on those hot, muggy days?
Holy ####, that's a great story. So I am finishing up my run tonight, and am just starting my 1.5 mile cool down. I start to feel that familiar twinge in the abdomen. I had just finished 12 - 400’s, so I’m pretty tired.
I go about another quarter mile, and the coffee pot is percolating and Joe DiMaggio is in my running shorts about ready to pour a cup.
I start thinking about my options, and the only viable option is the catholic church which is about another quarter mile away. I know they usually have something going on in the evenings, and they rarely lock their doors this early.
There are cars in the parking lot, so I penguin walk to the front door and walk in. It appears there is something going on in the sacristy, but the doors are closed and the restrooms are down a hallway. So I sneak in and proceed to the restroom.
It is beautifully clean. It just feels right. Sit down in the poopfessional, say 5 Our Fathers and 5 Hail Mary’s, and finish my business.
I then walk out, and apparently the service is over. There are approximately 75 parishioners milling about in a line, talking to the priest. I turn the corner, and it was like the organ music stopped.......
They ALL look at me, this weirdo sweating in running gear and headphones hanging around his neck. I nod and smile, put the headphones in my ears, and walk out with my head held high.
I laughed all the way home. Praise The Lord for opening his doors to my colon.
As I was walking in, they were broadcasting the service out in the vestibule. Someone was singing Silent Night. This is another level of pooprep.
I don’t think Costanza included churches on his map of best bathrooms.
I looked at a couple pairs but didn't buy them. Decided it wasn't hurting that bad - and it still doesn't, but still want to have a professional check it out. How's the compression sock working?
That's surprising! 46F is a near ideal temp for running (though maybe not mentally if you're not used to it). As an aside, I'm always surprised by runners in cold weather who have their bodies all bundled up ...but no gloves and/or hat. Gloves are one of my first go-to's when the temp hits 50 or below. It is 46F here in the morning lately and I stay on the treadmill inside
The last two days - 40 and sunny. Hat, gloves, tank top, and shorts. That's surprising! 46F is a near ideal temp for running (though maybe not mentally if you're not used to it). Awesome, they still do raves. This past Saturday for my rave it was 34, "feels like 25", per strava. Shorts, sleeveless shirt, light head cover and gloves. I felt manly.
That’s where I got the Ghosts from.I don't, but the usual should work:
Ice
Elevate
Ibuprofin
A foam roller also helps to roll them out. Just ease into running as you get back into it. Also, if you haven't gone to a running store yet, you may invest in a good pair of running shoes and have them fit you into the right pair.
