Thinking about that right now as I sit in the car on the way to Chicago. Just chomped down a big helping of pasta salad that I brought from home.My runs for the last two weeks have been at the 9:45 pace with a HR around 149. My scaled back expectations has my head somewhere at the 9:30 pace and see how I feel about half way through. HR should be in the upper 150's I think. If I want to push the HR in the 160s I am probably in the 9:00 pace range or even a little faster based on my current fitness. Just don't think I can hold that for 26 miles.Chiefs, what is the plan???

Good luck Steve and Duck, and I hope to see juxt tomorrow. Should be a fun weekend. Getting the pre race antsy feeling, which tells me my nutrition has been good this week. Feel like my body is ready to get shot out of a gun, which is usually a good sign for me.
Edit to add: bib number is 2739 if anyone wants to follow the awesomeness....errrr.....get a good laugh on Sunday.
