I'm outWarning... It does go through what I would consider to be one of the worlds first roundabouts... Wasn't really designed with that purpose, but that is essentially what Monument Circle is in the heart of Indy...

I haven't the slightest clue what year, but it's firmly on my radar. I wish there were another full within a few hours of me sometime in November. C'est la vieJust talked about this one with the wife after just looking it up. She said for her to do a marathon it needs to be cold (~40) and flat. This one fits the bill. I can't imagine weather being a factor for this. @MAC_32
We won't do it this year, but it's definitely in play for next year.
It’s been awhile, but I’ve used a knock off pair a few times. My PT tried to get me to buy a set as he was trying to put together a group purchase from the manufacturer, but they were still something like $700-$800.TripleThreat said:I did a 7 day stage race couple years back and Normatec loaned me their compress squeezy leg bags, couldn’t swing the purchase at the time. I’m thinking about picking up sone knock offs.
Anyone using them?
No, but it’s a terrific day for a race here in Tampa. No one racing this weekend?
I am tomorrow. Just a small race.No one racing this weekend?
Good luck! This is the bike-run combo, right?I am tomorrow. Just a small race.
Weather looking absolutely perfect. Should be about 45, partly sunny, and 7mph wind.
Will try to get a couple miles for neurostim today.
Yep. 1.5 miles x2 for me. I'll get about a half hour break in between while he rides 12 miles.Good luck! This is the bike-run combo, right?

BooooooooAnd it's snowing here in Chicago! It's even sticking, and we might get an inch or two.
Forecast for here tonight. Run tomorrow could be cold, snowy, and windy. And it's snowing here in Chicago! It's even sticking, and we might get an inch or two.

My current post-run viewForecast for here tonight. Run tomorrow could be cold, snowy, and windy.
I can only hope the forecast follows recent trends and is overstating things.
You deserve a break.I have zero motivation to run. Work is crazy. Weather sucks. Cold outside.
I'll break out of this funk in the next week or so.
Sigh.
They're all for you. It was always you......:finger:

Track. Other is sometime this summer in between baseball games. Then cross country starts at the end of July.Track or other?
I've heard other track parents complain about how bad it is to watch (I sat there for 3 hours for 40 seconds of participation!). Is it bad for you? I would have thought you can look at the schedule and reasonably guess when your kid is participating.Track. Other is sometime this summer in between baseball games. I asst coach, so the time flies and I dont have the responsibilities of the head coach. I couldnt imagine sitting in the bleachers the whole time like some do. But it is a time commitment and an energy zapper. SoS and long runs on track weekends are difficult to come by.Brony said:I've heard other track parents complain about how bad it is to watch (I sat there for 3 hours for 40 seconds of participation!). Sand the first one. You dont know your top end limits, so push them and find out. And dont even look at your watch. Just pick your next target and hunt it down until the final target (finish line) appears. Then channel your inner pbm, but waiting until being done to yack.Do I Sand the hell out of the mile and a half and just hold on for dear life or go out at something like 7:00 pace for the mile and then push harder for the last half mile?
I like to yack on the targets as I pass them. Really breaks their spirit.Sand the first one. You dont know your top end limits, so push them and find out. And dont even look at your watch. You’re going to love this race experience. I am going to see if I can make the MCM 10k work in with my fall race plans or otherwise I’ll be a spectator this year.OK guys! I'm now six months out from the Marine Corp Marathon. I'll be running on behalf of the Elk Institute, which provides support services - at no cost - for veterans dealing with psychological trauma such as PTSD. This is the first fundraiser I've done, and I'm honored to support such a worthy cause. If you'd like to help out, here's the link: https://runsignup.com/rwalstra . Feel free to share with others as well. TIA! I'm really looking forward to the race weekend and what I'm sure will be a moving experience.
