In the past, we've just done a free ESPN league and drafted on that site as a snake draft. As of right now it looks like we have:

ChiefD

@gruecd

@bushdocda

@Zasada

@SFBayDuck

@TripleThreat

@The Iguana

@JShare87

@Ned

@pbm107

@tri-man 47

Anyone else?
Not to be a PITA, but I'm probably OUT if it's a free league, otherwise it tends to all go to hell once people start falling out of contention.  Also, if enough people are agreeable to playing for money, could we do it on Yahoo instead of ESPN?  I'd really like to keep all my leagues in one place for the sake of convenience...

I mean, really.  We're FBGs.  We can't each afford $50?
I would prefer yahoo as well. I did some quick checking and setting up a league there is pretty easy.

And yes, we can play for money you big competitive sasquatch.

He makes a good point and I’m one of the #######s that made it all go to hell last time we did this.  Don’t be me.

And I apologize again.

You should make the entry fee some kind of race fee.

It would also be fun to incorporate running into it. For each H2H, each week, have a home and an away. Away has to run a 400m interval. Home then gets a chance to match it. The difference in seconds ends up being a point handicap added to the matchup for the week.

Why don't you just pipe down you non-participating wankah?

I don't think I want to play this game. It's one thing to  hear about you savages pooping in the middle of runs all the time.  It's another to try to figure out where.  It's only a small step to dudes posting pics on their Strava of their steaming piles.  :unsubscribe:

Man that was fun tonight. Ever since doing 18 on Saturday, I've been super frisky this week on the 5 mile runs. It's like I'm all pumped up epinephrine or something. Definitely a little extra pep in my step and going out a little faster than planned but it's just fun right now.

Looooooong day of work travel, but after getting home after 7pm, I still managed to drag my ### out the door an hour later to hit the gym for a date with the treadmill.

I'm halfway through the intervals and getting ridiculously bored when this hot blonde PYT in yoga pants gets on the elliptical directly in front of me.  :wub:  Literally every elliptical was open, and she chose that one. She knew what she was doing. In any case, her onion booty was a godsend, and it got me through the rest of the workout. The end.

You’re gonna get this whole thing shut down.

Oh sure, I stop posting a few days and y'all forget about me.
Added.

I’m in if you still have room
Added.

So now we need one more to get to 14.

I’m fine with $ league and also can be dropped if we have 1 too many so I can reread my Hanson’s book another dozen times.

So, while I'm not expecting some huge jump again, I wonder if today's struggles indicate some kind of reset again in the future.
Well, almost like clockwork, yesterday's afternoon run took a "jump" forward.  I only ran 4 miles and the overall pace was only 10:45, but the 1st couple miles were huge improvements to anything before.

First, my initial mile was a 10:34 pace with a HR of 130.  More than 3 minutes into my run and my HR was 119 at one point.  It was a downhill to start, but still, I've never seen it that low when I'm running.  The 2nd mile was a gradual uphill and done at 10:24 with a HR of 136.  Having done that stretch before, that's not usual for me.  All this while being 87 degrees outside and pretty humid.  I slowed down for miles 3 and 4 and just kept it easy but overall it goes along with what I've seen after a run that was more of a struggle than usual.

 I've set up a league already on Yahoo (had some spare time today). So, here's what I'm thinking.

14 Teams

2 Divisions

6 playoff teams - 2 division winners and 4 wild card

Start: 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 Flex (WR,TE,RB), 1 TE, 1 Kicker, 1 Defense, 6 Bench

So 15 round draft

Entry Fee: $50

Payouts: $700: $450 for first, $200 for second, $50 for third

Everyone hangs onto their money and we just have you send it directly to the winners at the end. We all basically know each other here, and I don't want to hold money.

Draft on Monday night of Labor Day Weekend. September 2nd. 8 PM central. We should all be home from weekend activities by then.

Thoughts?
