Did the workout and I really enjoyed it - 10 one minute intervals at 7:30/mi. It wasn't easy but I bumped the last one up to 7:19 and did a minute and a half. I don't think I would do as good a job maintaining the pace throughout and I definitely know I would struggle just finding the correct pace.I think for someone trying to figure out their paces/efforts that the dreadmill may be more effective for intervals. The greater the experience the more I think you'll get out of challenging yourself to hit the paces without robot assistance.

). The general point, given what you state here, is to relax and do a bulk of your running at 8:00/mile or slower rather than feeling the need to push the 7:30/mile pace. They're just easy, mindless miles ...but they are still productive miles!
