Random Question About Stanford (1 Viewer)

When cheering for Stanford sports teams, do you say:

1) Go Cardinals;

2) Go Cardinal; or

3) Go Stanford?

Serious question and serious answer requested.  Thx

Buy the school, change the name. Problem solved.

Assume it would be, Go Cardinal, like Go Orange in Syracuse.

I believe the correct etiquette is to announce "i'm smart and rich. I don't need you." without undue presumption and return to your seat.

Its obviously not "Go Cardinals" - that makes no sense.  Otherwise, I don't think anyone cares one way or the other as between "Stanford" and "Cardinal" - its presumably both.

Good luck. Now that you've included us, let us know how it goes

Thx for the GL.

As I learned from a former AO there, it's a crapshoot for just about everyone.  For every kid who gets in, they deny 5 kids who have essentially the same application.

So, she has a 1/6 shot at best.

Nobody here in The Bay really cares about Stanford (or Cal) sports, so it doesn’t really matter.

That being said, if someone did care they’d likely say “Go Cardinal”. Which is kind of stupid. But so is the Tree. Which may be why nobody cares.  Except for during “Big Game” week when people on both sides pretend to care for 6 days.

Can’t help with admission, but your kid can join the band even if they don’t play an instrument - it’s not a prerequisite.
