Non-Ranger thought about the game:

Terry Francona is killing it on color tonight. Real insight without going too inside. Not overtalking, letting the game come to him.

 
CJ saved by another DP started by Beltre. The fact that he is manning third instead of Young can not be stressed enough this season.

 
I know you aren't going to pitch count Verlander, but I love the way the Rangers are making him work early.

 
Verlander inside the foxbox and it's a ball. Wilson vs Cabrera throws it outside of the foxbox and it's a strike. Okay, at least the guy's consistent.

Wilson getting a little lucky here. Verlander a little unlucky. So goes baseball....it doesn't claim to be fair.

He has been real inconsistent on the outside part of the plate. He has taken a couple away from Verlander and given Wilson one.

Ha. If you expect me to meltdown Yankee Fan style, go somewhere else. In fact, if you are a Yankee fan, you should go somewhere else.

Hate the rain right now. Texas had all the momentum, and now you just don't know.

I do like the Rangers bullpen if Wilson/Verlander are done for the night. Ogando for two or even three innings here could be huge.

ESPN radio guy said the strike zone for Wilson was a pool and the strike zone for Verlander was a bathtub.Tigers have stranded eight runners and left the bases loaded twice, they should be up three runs so the Verlander stuff is a moot point. Nice job by Porcello and Raburn, the rest of the team stinks.
 
Francona was doing great til he made a joke that Nolan Ryan made his wife fearful and then neither he nor Buck knew what to say immediately afterwards.

ETA: I hope he doesn't start muting himself due to one odd comment, because he's been good overall. And I think he's awesome anyway. That was just...awkward.
