In round 6 and 7 I keep getting faced with the same dilemma.

So rank these WRs in tiers for me...

Malcolm Floyd

Jeremy Maclin

Mike Wallace

Santana Moss

Johnny Knox

Dez Bryant

Terrell Owens

These are just really tough for me to rank this year for some reason.

Are you really forced to take these guys in the 6th/7th?

I like Maclin best, he's the only one I'd really feel good about drafting there. I know Bryant is a hot pick, maybe you can't get him later. I like Knox but not that early. All 3 of these guys are great "breakout" options if you've got some reliable players ahead of them.

I would def. not take Floyd, TO, Wallace this high. Moss, eh, tough to get excited about.

How have Santana and McNabb been in camp? I haven't heard much about them and I know he wasn't targeted this week (not that it means much since its preseason).

Terrell Owens - Talent and opportunity. I think he's still got it. Did he look old in Buffalo, or did he just look like he was playing with Bills?

Jeremy Maclin - Ascendant talent.

Dez Bryant - Looks like an instant starter at WR. I can't put him higher because he's a rook and Dallas has lots of optoins, but I can't put him much lower because they seem excited to use him.

Johnny Knox - I'd put him higher if I trusted that he was the #1 there.

Santana Moss - Best WR on the team meets the QB he's had in years. He's never had that true superstar season, so his upside seems limited.

Mike Wallace - Probably the #2 on a team with question marks in the passing game.

Malcolm Floyd - Might take that next step forward, at least for the first few weeks, but VJax wasn't the only thing preventing him from breaking out.

The thing I really don't like about Maclin is that he'll probably be the 4th option in that offense.I like Owens but the Bengals passing game - and more importantly Palmer's arm - scares me.Will Bryant fight off Williams to get on the field enough to be a fantasy WR3?Knox has Martz which is why I included him in this group. Looks like he is definitely going to start.Moss is probably the safest of this group but has a low ceiling, too.Wallace is an unknown and may face the better CB as Ward is mostly a shorter route runner.So now you see my dilemma. Keep the discussion going --- you all are going to have this decision to make as well.

This.My drafting strategy would have me passing on anyone but Maclin here. I'll grab Dez later. The others, meh.

Wallace - underrated guy who is going to get a lot of looks this year.

Moss - is still the WR1 in Wash but the TEs will take away a lot of tagets.

Floyd - has an elite QB who will be spreading the ball around.

Knox - showed some potential last season but the WR situation in Chi is still a mystery.

TO - I think he's about done as a relevant fantasy producer.

Bryant - injury and plethora of weapons in Dal will set him back in rookie year. Could make impact late in the year.

1. Terrell Owens - Averaged 15 yards per catch last year on a very bad Bills team. Will outscore Ochocinco from a fantasy perspective this year. He has only missed 1 game in the past 4 seasons. He still has something left in the tank and I love his contract - $2 million base with $2 million in incentives. Highest ceiling, imo.

2. Santana Moss - Probably the safest pick out of these players. Will be the #1 WR target for McNabb although he'll draw the toughest defenders unless the other WRs develop.

3. Jeremy Maclin - I just can't see drafting him over Owens or Moss as he will be the 3rd or 4th target after the other players on that offense.

4. Johnny Knox - Mike Martz seems to love this guy and I think he will be a solid WR3. Might have WR2 upside in PPR leagues.

5. Mike Wallace - Not having Ben for 1/4 of the year hurts his value and he is the sexy pick for a "sleeper" which likely means he is being overdrafted.

6. Malcolm Floyd/Dez Bryant - Toss up here for me. I am not sure that Floyd, who has never really shown WR1 talent in his career, will all of a sudden become a beast. I like one of the other WRs to emerge on that team. Bryant is a rookie WR and an ideal WR4 candidate but not enough to count on as an everyday starter.

Santana Moss - He's going to have a huge season, IMO with McNabb at the helm.Mike Wallace - Don't fall for the old "Everyone likes him, thus he'll be overvalued" trick. He'll reap the benefit of Santana Holmes going to the JetsKnox/Floyd/Bryant - Toss up.Terrell Owens - Stick a fork in him. He's done. He's nothing more than a sideshow. He might prove me wrong, but I wouldn't pick him over any of the WR's that you listed.

1. Mike Wallace, I'm really impressed with this guy. I think the 4 games without Ben is a little overstated. Its not like Brian Brohm will be his QB, Leftwich has plenty of experience and has looked pretty good in camp, and did a pretty good job in Tampa with nowhere near the weapons Pittsburgh has. 1,100-7

2. Jeremy Maclin, I'm not one of those people who think Maclin has any shot at being the #1 in Philly, but I don't he'll be the #4 option either. I think Kolb's natural agressiveness will lead to more targets for both Jackson and Maclin. 1,100-6

3. Johnny Knox, I think its about 60-40 he's the Bears #1 WR. I wouldn't rule out Hester, but I just think Knox is a much more natural WR and is almost as good an athlete. However, I don't see huge TD potential as Martz's offenses and Cutler both have a history of spreading the wealth once they get in the redzone. 1,100-4

4. Santana Moss, I really think the people who see visions of what D-Jax did with McNabb last year and think that will transfer over to Moss are crazy. However, Moss is easily the best WR on the Redskins and will be a useful player, but I don't have the same confidence in him(or McNabb) that others seem to have. 800-7

5. Terrell Owens, I'd be very surprised if he truly was Batman to Chad's Robin. Make no mistake, Ocho Cinco is the Bengals WR to own and I'd be in no rush to have him either. I think Carson Palmer is just about done, he has no arm strength and was never the greatest decision maker. If I'm wrong about Palmer and he does bounceback than Owens should probably be at the top of this list, but I have almost zero confidence that will happen. 700-6

6. Dez Bryant, in a dynasty league he'd be my first choice, but he's the #3 target at best on a team that I think is going to run the ball a lot more than people seem to think. 700-6

7. Malcolm Floyd, I don't think Floyd should get some huge bump up just because V-Jax is unlikely to play(and certainly won't until week 4) if anything the response should be moving Rivers down several spots. The Chargers are going to be a disappointing team this year in my opinion, they are lucky to be in the AFC West where they can be mediocre on both sides of the ball and still with the division with little worry. 700-4

So you think he is going to do worse than last year? I just don't see that happening. There is a reason that Palmer lobbied so hard to get him in Cincy.

Mike Wallace - I know he is missing Ben for 1/4 of the season but Leftwich is a nice backup and it's still the same offense that got Holmes 80 catches and 1250 yards last year. Wallace will be seeing those targets this year. Predictions: 70 catches 1100 yards 6 td's

Johnny Knox - I think he will be the #1 in Chicago and he should come close to 1,000 and have about 5-7 td's

Jeremy Maclin - I love his talent but he has alot of competition for touches. He has the highest ceiling but I think next year might be his year. 65 catches 900 yards 5 td's

S. Moss - I like McNabb and the Skins this year and I do expect Moss to have the hgihest #'s out of the wr corp however I have owned Moss before and he is a headache. He can go off one game and not have a catch the next. I would pass on him but he can win some games for you. Can't predict his #'s.

Terrell Owens - I think he will be descent. 60 catches 750 yards 4 td's

Malcom Floyd - If VJax really sits out he moves up to 2nd on this list but I can't believe Vjax is really going to do that

Dez Bryant - I like him a dynasty league but for redraft purposes alot of weapons on that team and a rookie missing training camp and preseason really puts him behind on the learning curb. Especially when he didn't play his last year in college. 50 catches 600 yards 3 td's

Despite what many in the Bengals organization are claiming. I don't think Owens is signed at all if Bryant is even close to being healthy. I'm not really expecting Bryant to play much, and maybe not at all this season.Despite that, I really don't see any reason to assume Owens will be better than he was a year ago. There are still more mouths to feed in Cincy and while Palmer is a QB upgrade its not like he's really anything special anymore himself. The Bengals are now a run the ball and play defense team now.

FWIW, one thing that has been repeated on Philly Sports Radio for the past month is that Maclin is Kolb's guy. They click. Personally, although Jackson will be the superstar....Maclin will provide much more value based on the rounds he's being drafted in.

Meh. I like the discussion. In 125 real drafts at MFL Owens is moving up the charts and is currently WR33. In order to get to the 6th round as an average he will likely need to get to WR25-26. J Maclin PHI - 20M Wallace PIT - 19T Owens CIN - 19S Moss WAS - 18T Houshmandzadeh SEA - 18J Knox CHI - 18D Hester CHI - 18M Floyd SD - 17although I infer from this that perhaps Dez is a value here or overrated in your leagues.To answer your question, if you like risk I'd take Maclin or Dez. If you want to play it safe, probably Moss. I probably take Moss if my top 2 WRs are riskier.

Which is fine with me. I doubt I'll own him in many leagues, as I'm not willing to reach for him, but I'd be glad to take him if he drops.
