David, where are your numbers derived? Madden?

That site always makes me feel like a caveman. Can you link the article that discusses the player values?

Very subjective. Some people ranking potential over production. Should Kevin Kolb gets a 2 points for his 7 career starts? I say no.Also some teams excell in signing undrafted free agents. Green bay, for example, found Tramon Williams, Sam Shields and Frank Zombo etc. No points for the scouting department there.
I was thinking the same thing about Kolb. Adjusting for time in the league I guess Jimmy Clausen would be a 2 also.
We can give Kolb a 1, that is fine with me. I only gave him a 2 because most Eagles fans on this bored love him. I don't think he is anything special.Plus giving him a 1 lowers the fat man's draft score which I am all for.

NY Jets:

2005

2 (47) Mike Nugent 1 4 year starter, has hung around the league, still drafted too high

2 (57) Justin Miller 1 Made a Pro Bowl, then was derailed by injuries

3 (88) Sione Pouha 1 Two ACL tears, but has been an adequate backup/spot starter when healthy

4 (123) Kerry Rhodes 2 Could have been a 3 with a better attitude, still playing well for Arizona

2006

1 (4) D'Brickashaw Ferguson 2 Looked like a bust, but has rounded into form

1 (29) Nick Mangold 2 Could easily be a 3, but am trying to steer clear of Titansesque homerism

2 (49) Kellen Clemens 0 Can't even be an adequate backup

3 (76) Anthony Schlegel 0 Out of the game, lasted one year

3 (97) Eric Smith 1 A little too much helmet-to-helmet, but allowed the Jets to part ways with Rhodes

4 (103) Brad Smith 1 Converted to WR, but used for trick plays, ST and kickoff/punt returns

4 (117) Leon Washington 1 Good change of pace back who still had enough left to latch on with Seattle

2007

1 (14) Darrelle Revis 3 An elite cornerback

2 (47) David Harris 3 A tremendous second team all pro inside linebacker who allowed the Jets to dump Vilma

2008

1 (6) Vernon Gholston 0 I'd give him a negative if I could, never came close to reaching his potential

1 (30) Dustin Keller 1 In a couple of years he might be a 2, led the Jets in receptions in 2010

4 (113) Swight Lowery 0 Maybe a little harsh, but the Jets have to continualy bring FA's in because Lowery can't hang onto the #2 CB job.

2009

1 (5) Mark Sanchez 2 One of the more controversial Jets, he is the face of the franchise now and has led the Jets deep into the playoffs in his two appearances

3 (65) Shonn Greene 1 A decent, but not elite back, has performed fairly well in the playoff

22/18=1.22

Jaguars 2005-2009:

2009

1 8 Eugene Monroe 2*

2 39 Eben Britton 1*

3 72 Terrance Knighton 2*

3 73 Derek Cox 1*

4 107 Mike Thomas 1*

2008

1 8 Derrick Harvey

2 52 Quentin Groves

2007

1 21 Reggie Nelson

2 48 Justin Durant 1*

3 79 Mike Walker 1*

4 101 Adam Podlesh

4 113 Brian Smith

2006

1 28 Marcedes Lewis 3*

2 60 Maurice Jones-Drew 3*

3 80 Clint Ingram

2005

1 21 Matt Jones

2 52 Khalif Barnes

3 87 Scott Starks

4 127 Alvin Pearman

15 points, 19 players = 0.78 rating

These results are buoyed by the 2009 draft class, which had almost as many stars as the rest of the years combined. This is some pitiful drafting.
