Happens all the time....
I'm sure there are players you own who get tackles they shouldn't. You just don't notice those. Over the course of a season, this stuff all evens out in the end for all of us.
I almost always agree but not this time, this year has been the worst I have ever seen when it comes to incorrect tackles. The NFL should make tackles an offical stat and with all the Technology today there is no reason they cant award the correct player with an tackle(minus dog piles).
I agree that this year is the worst. What I'm saying is that players that someone owns gets underserved tackles as much as players someone doesn't own. Owners do not get screwed over a 16 game season because as much as their players get screwed out of a tackle when they make one, a relatively similar number of their players will benefit from getting undeserved tackles credited to them when they don't make one.My point is owners will say they got ripped off when their players get screwed...but they fail to mention (because they don't notice) that some of their players get tackles that they did not make. It all evens out over 16 games.
I think I was just very annoyed because I was in a 5 point game and had Ray Lewis going. It was a sweep play to opposite side of the field and he got off a block and ran across field and tackled Mendenhall. I then look at at the play-by-play and it credited #59 Ellerbe. The TV broadcast then showed it again and credited Lewis with getting off the block and making the play and I see #59 Ellerbe standing next to the pile not even on the ground and he got a tackle. In the end it didn't matter because Lewis had 9 total tackles, a tackle for loss, and a pass deflection and I won.
