The fins have been talking to a lot of big backs in the draft process. This is probably just an insurance signing in case they miss out on those guys.

He ran well yesterday. Gordon has to be the GL back now. Wright looked very average... 9 carries for 17 yards
Mattison seemed to have turned the clock back 5 years - he looked great in camp and on the play he got hurt where he went head first to the ground. He's only 27.
He was more of a threat to Achane's GL carries than Gordon or Wright, who's been criticized for poor vision. Although, Wright had one very good game filling in for an injured Achane in the NE game. Gordon, Wright, and Achane are 21, 22, 23.
I think Gordon takes some GL carries from Achane. He got a TD by yesterday by jumping over the pile - he's 6'1 and weighs 225.
