Might end up being nothing but two limited practices ahead of a Thursday game would have me a little nervous. Now a GTD.
Think I'll hold J. Jackson.

He's an rb1 every week.I can’t believe he’s touted as a RB1this week.
Jackson is a nobody. If Ekeler doesn't play Keenan Allen gets a boost, probably the Tes too (though good luck picking which one), but I wouldn't start Johnson unless I had nobody else. Not to boost Jackson, but I picked him up specifically because of the lack of recovery time for Ekeler with the Thursday game. Seems like a recurrence has elevated odds. Of course, Jackson would be in a split at best, but in my opinion, he's the best option of the bunch.
Saw this on twitter.(RotoWire) In reference to Ekeler (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Thursday night's contest against Kansas City, coach Brandon Staley noted Wednesday that "Austin is just sore, but we're going to make sure before the game that he's feeling OK," Gilbert Manzano of The Orange County Register reports. Analysis: Ekeler thus heads into Week 15 action viewed as a game-time decision, but in the wake of back-to-back listed limited practice sessions Tuesday and Wednesday, it would probably take a pre-game setback for the Chargers' top running back to land on the inactive list for Thursday night's 8:20 ET contest.
He played with the same injury last week, had 14 touches for 80 total yards and a td, and then was pulled at the half because the Chargers were so far ahead they didn't need him. He managed to practice all week. As long as he doesn't suffer a set back he's fine and will get his floor of 100 total yards and a td like he does every week because he's the best fantasy rb right now not named Taylor. And they're playing the chiefs so it should be high scoring.
Don't over think it.
Being 1 game behind 1st place in the AFC? I didn't research much on it, but I'd think they would play him fully if active, in their race for a 1st round bye. /shrugWouldn’t be surprised if he sits. Or if he’s active a third down role.
Well that does give me pause. But I'm f-ed if he doesn't play so...Saw this on twitter.
The odds on Ekeler backup RBs to score a TD went from +650 and +1200 to BOTH +350.
The sportsbook where I got those lines is offering significant “cash out” options on both of them as we speak…. That tells you all you need to know.
Yeah that’s what it’s looking like more and more and every site has him at 18-22 PPR points.https://twitter.com/TaylorBisciotti/status/1471478005444665349

1st place in the #AFCWest TONIGHT! Austin Ekeler is expected to play but I’m told he won’t get a full workload. #KCvsLAC

He hasn’t hinted that he’s good to go and gonna play well on Twitter which he normally does.
Haven't followed this indicator- does he normally do this every week, only if he's banged up, or is it something he's done like once or twice this year?He hasn’t hinted that he’s good to go and gonna play well on Twitter which he normally does.
Please sit
Hope he sits. Clearly not 100%.

Just that he’s likely active.
Nope. Wouldn't touch anyone else in that backfield.Ekeler owners bothering with J. Jackson or J. Kelley?
Currently holding Jackson, but not sure it's worth it. Other needs to attend to and there are others on the wire (J. Howard, Jamaal Williams) that could produce as much if possibly needed.

I need Ek because I have no other players left who don't have Covid or aren't suspended.Need Ek so badly. Give me one more glorious outing little buddy.
Same. Lost Waddle and Lockett today.I need Ek because I have no other players left who don't have Covid or aren't suspended.
I lost Lockett too. I have R Wilson so that's a double whammy.Same. Lost Waddle and Lockett today.
I just looked over my rosters...Same. Lost Waddle and Lockett today.
Austin Ekeler rushed 12 times for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Chargers' Week 15 overtime loss to the Chiefs, adding four receptions for 23 additional yards.
Playing through an ankle issue, Ekeler indeed had his plays scaled back — he entered halftime with only one more snap than Justin Jackson — but the Chargers compensated by giving him the ball almost every time he was on the field. His 16 touches were just one off his season average, while Ekeler did not appear to have trouble cutting or bursting upfield. The fantasy superstar has now found the end zone at least once in 11-of-14 games, totaling 17 scores. Ekeler's scoring prowess combined with his continued pass catching is putting fantasy managers in position to win leagues. That will be more true than ever against a Texans defense in Week 16 that just made a star of Rashaad Penny. Giddy up.

He looked fine moving around, disappointed he was on limited duty, but thanks to the TD, it could have been worse.
Hopefully this means with a long rest he'll be close to 100% next week (if I manage to survive to see it).
Could have easily had 3 TDsBull Dozier said:He looked fine moving around, disappointed he was on limited duty, but thanks to the TD, it could have been worse.

Oh, I know. I was screaming at the TV the entire time LAC were in the red zone.Could have easily had 3 TDs
Yeah, I was nervous going against him. He hit his average, but at least he didn't have one of his crazy 30- 40-point games.Could have easily had 3 TDs
