RB Chase Brown, CIN (3 Viewers)

I didn't watch much Bengals football last season, nor have I this season. What happened with the Bengals OL between last season and this season?

Sell "high"
No, Sir. Here are the teams he's faced in his first 7 weeks:
CLE - #1 vs the run
GB - #4 vs the run
DEN - #8 vs the run
DET - #11 vs the run
JAC - #14 vs the run
PIT - #15 vs the run
MIN - #23 vs the run
6 out of 7 games vs the top half

Here are his next 9 weeks:
NYJ - #18 vs the run
CHI - #31 vs the run
bye
PIT - #15 vs the run
NE - #3 vs the run
BAL - #21 vs the run
BUF - #32 vs the run
BAL - #21 vs the run
MIA - #30 vs the run
ARI - #16 vs the run
3 out of 9 games vs the top half

If you've held this long, why sell now? And how much did he actually appreciate in a single game with only 11 carries?

Yeah I've got shares of J. Chase, Brown and Higgins everywhere. This schedule looks ridiculous.

Also, take a look at BALT's schedule.

Buy all your Bengals and Ravens NOW.

Nice to see a decent outing but if he's getting yanked at the GL and not getting receptions, upside seems quite limited.
I think he has a chance to reclaim GL, but Perine is so much better in the pass game and they have spent a lot of time down big and Taylor is already a pass heavy coach. That's going to limit the snaps between the 20s. To my eyes, Brown should easily be the better option on short yardage and goal line.

I would trade him ASAP if I owned him anywhere.
He’s still a RB3/flex for me. Unless he’s catching 5 balls and scoring an occasional TD, his ceiling remains low. At least Flacco looks competent to move the ball a lot better than Browning.

I am happy with Brown as my RB3 so I am not looking to trade him. For those who suggest that, what do you realistically expect to get in return?

Lots of pros from last night but the cons irk me. That first drop that would have likely gone for 30+ yards and then the amount of snaps Perine took from him, especially in the RZ.

I don't even know what to say about CB. The OL is a disaster, obviously the QB downgrade is enormous but most of all his usage in the passing game makes no sense to me. Dude is a high-end receiving RB and he isn't getting nearly the looks he did last year. You'd think for a QB as bad as Browning is, that you'd want to feature more easy dump offs and screens to your dynamic RB. Especially when the OL is so brutal.
Yep. He's going to my bench for now.
He is back in my starting lineup now that Flacco is there and the offense looks like it can do something.

With injuries to McLaurin and others, I too am starting Brown again. I liked the O WAY more with Flacco, I just hope Brown does enough to keep Perine away (As sad as that is to have to rely on).

Can Brown keep the momentum going vs. a bad Jets team?
With Bymageddon it's become what can Brown do for you?
I took byemageddon as the opportunity to unload him to a team that would have had to pick up a RB off waivers. Got McConkey in return to cover my own WR bye/injury issues. Happy to trade one disappointment for another and let Brown be someone else's problem.
