RB Darrell Henderson, LAR (1 Viewer)

Feels like Henderson's production is baked in, Leroy Heard style. He will get you 13-15 touches a game, 13 games a year, and a touchdown every other week.

As the cookie crumbles for me, he's my #5 RB. A solid injury/bye week flex, and I'll smash the accept button on the first offer for a second rounder.

Perfectly summarized.

Watching the game on RedZone and it sure seems like Akers is outsnapping him

ETA: Ha, two seconds after I posted this, he housed a red-zone carry #freezingtakesexposed

Darrell Henderson rushed seven times for 27 yards in the Rams' Week 4 loss to the 49ers.

With the Rams chasing points most of the night, Henderson out-snapped Cam Akers 44-28 and played extensively in third-down and two-minute situations. He caught just 3-of-4 targets for 12 yards as a receiver and was still out-carried by Akers 8-7. Neither found the end zone, and it was actually Malcolm Brown, fresh off the practice squad, seeing the snaps at the goal line. This backfield looks like a mess headed into Week 5 against the Cowboys. Henderson is a low-floor RB3.

My team desperately needs Henderson to have a big week and become “The Guy” the rest of the way for LA. Certainly didn’t expect whatever this is though.

Foolishly, I've held him since the day I drafted him. Over the years, I've come to think of Darrell Henderson as the Bob Sacamano of my dynasty team. Not sure if that makes any sense to you Seinfeld fans.

Would love to get one borderline breakout and dump him off on an unsuspecting RB desperate team for a pick,

Dropped him to make room for BRobinson coming off IR...thankfully nobody picked him up. Was able to grab him back as soon as I heard about Akers. May not be great, but probably better than Having both Gibson and Robinson on that offense (dropped Gibson) Wished I had known prior to starting Montgomery last night.

Rams vs Panthers is perfect timing for Henderson to solidify confidence with the regime. I think Highend RB2/Lowend RB1 numbers for week 6. I'm starting him where ever I got him.
I have him in now in full ppr in my flex (over Olave, Mostert, Zeke and Diontae). Not sure if that is reactionary or not.

Conversely, if Henderson struggles, it might be the push they need to make a move. I'm a little more pessimistic and would probably have Henderson around RB20 or so, around guys like Gordon, Sanders, or Dobbins.

Considering him over Mostert as well.
Same but Mostert is in the lineup...for now.

Can't really justify starting him over Jeff Wilson (or Fournette) so I'll wait and see. But I do think this game will determine what they do during the bye week as far as bringing in talent or making a trade.

Same. Lost Javonte and Cordarelle. This is at least helps make the RB2 decision a little easier this week with my pupu platter of Hendo, Latavius, Edmonds, and Tevin Coleman/whatever trash I can dig up on the wire.

I held on to him due to dearth of RBs available, but I've been hoping not needing to use him. I will NOT be starting him over Jeff Wilson or Dillon.

Even at his YTD pace, he was probably more valuable than the trash on the waiver wire, with only McKinnon being debatable. But unless he has a big breakout game this week, I would expect the Rams to add someone. Maybe even if he does.

as the announcers said last week, the Rams have switched offensive linemen around every game this season, there's no stability.I'm probably the only DH truther in here, but I just don't think you can count on him at this time. I'd be looking elsewhere for a starting RB if you needed on. Mostert, Eno were on my waivers grabbed them both, and they're likely to beat DH's score tomorrow.

Darrell Henderson rushed 12 times for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 6 win over the Panthers, adding two receptions for nine additional yards.

The 14 touches were Henderson's most since Week 1, but a disappointing number in the context of Cam Akers' deactivation and the Rams covering a 10.5-point spread at home. Henderson did at least provide a score for RB2 desperados in fantasy. He cashed in a two-yard carry in the fourth quarter and handled several other goal-line looks. Neither Malcolm Brown nor "Ronnie Rivers" applied pressure down the board. Headed on bye for Week 7, the Rams now have two weeks to figure out what to do with their backfield. None of their going-forward 2022 plans are expected to include Akers. That would have Henderson in the RB2 mix more weeks than not.

Great get right game for Rams.

Looking at the boxscore you might feel that he got bailed out on the shortyard TD and in a way he did for fantasy, but I think watching bits of the game there was a key drive in the 2nd quarter that resulted in the team's first Touchdown of the game, where Henderson/Oline willed them to complete first downs (especially a ridiculous 3rd and 15 and he got it on a run up the middle for 16 yds) and they eventually score a TD instead of settling for a field goal on the drive. That to me is all I needed to see the difference of Henderson from the others.

The O-line was also recognized after the game by McVay as improving.

Good time for Bye Week, rest and get some starters back on the depleted O-line and when they face SF in week 8 they host a now depleted SF Defense. The matchup is looking way more appealing now. If a trade/acquisition doesn't happen, Henderson looks like a RB2 ROS.

That run on 3rd and 15 was damn impressive

I didnt watch the entire gae but saw way too much of a rotation of Hendo with the 2 JAGs...did that give way late?

Clearly the Rams brain trust have zero interest in Henderson as a starter or even a major contributor; think he's immediately droppable in redraft. In dynasty, I'd target the guy who has DJ Chark and try a 1 for 1 swap just because.

Utter trash...the Rams played a UDFA with no experience over Henderson. I agree, immediately droppable, which is pretty hard to accomplish for a RB.

Yeah...at least for now I got the answer I needed when having to cover my defenses bye week and possibly cover Andrews missing a week for injury plus a bye. I have Henderson seems like a drop candidate (which means he gets 20+ carries the next game).

Is this guy worth holding?

Have him in a 12 team league and I just don't see a scenario emerging where I start him. His ceiling seems to be 45 yards rushing, maybe 3 receptions for a few.

Meanwhile, some guy named Rivers comes out of left field and is getting carries, M. Brown refuses to go away, Akers is clearly Rasputin, and K. Williams is lurking.

I mean seriously McVay...how the hell did you win a championship?

K. Williams was just dropped for the latest WWWonder. Tempted to drop Henderson for him since everything I've read says this guy is a three down back that excelled at ND.
