RB Derrick Henry, BAL (2 Viewers)

Yep I think I jinxed us all. Amazing they forgot about him in the entire 2nd quarter. With Mariota possibly out you'd think they would run even more, but is Lewis going to be the guy now?

The Skins killing the clock in their long drives. Can't get points sitting on the bench. Need a long run here.

Thanks for the last 3 weeks, Derrick. Been a pleasure riding your points from my flex spot (non-ppr) and hopefully I’ll have a championship to show for it in 2 days.

I doubt he ends up outscoring Evans and Fournette who I benched but like someone said not awful scoring 16.2 but nothing special either.

I'm upset because they didn't give him the ball when the crowd was cheering for him to get it, because he DESERVED to get that TD. I don't care if it was a "great call" with the pass. That would have given Henry a 21 pt game and a great start to the FF finals. I know he's been great, but if you're happy with today, you must have one hell of a team. And even with a great team you just cannot afford to lose a TD like that in the finals.

16.2 fantasy points....that's about what the #13 overall RB in my leagues average. I'll take it. He's not going to win the week for you, but he's not going to lose it for you, either, with that number. And after spending the first 13 weeks as the #52 RB, getting anything at all out of him still feels like a gift.

He also would've been creamed for a 3 yard loss.

exactly, could have been worse. just hoping no one i benched him for goes off lol

Derrick Henry rushed 21 times for 84 yards and one touchdown in Tennessee's Week 16 victory over Washington.

Henry had been held to less than 50 yards prior to Tennessee's eventual game-winning drive, but piled up 30 yards on the ground on that possession to bring the Titans inside Washington's 5. Blaine Gabbert (filling in for an injured Marcus Mariota) hit TE MyCole Pruitt on a play-action pass to seal the victory and the franchise's first-ever third consecutive winning season. Henry was still the team's primary back even while the going was tough as he out-touched Dion Lewis 22-6 on the day. His rushing line over the past month alone (81/532/8) has assuredly cemented his position as a top-15 back from out of nowhere in 2018. The Titans presumably have to win out to make the postseason, locking-in Henry as a bone-crushing RB1 in the team's final regular season game against the Colts.

Dude has been a fantasy landmine for 3/4 of the season. The fact that he is even startable is a blessing. You’re seriously mad over 84 and a TD from someone who was averaging less than 50 yards a game?

Dude....the professional football team went with a play that they felt would get them a go ahead touchdown.

You hopefully realize that this game of FANTASY FOOTBALL is one governed by a bit of luck

good grief man

You don't think I understand this? I still have the right to be pissed. I needed those points. It's fantasy, I couldn't care less about what's good for the Titans.

You must be unbearable to watch football with.   Your stud gets 100 yds and 2 TDs and you complain that he did not get a chance at a 3rd.

Henry got over 90 yds and a score.   Still a decent day for a RB2.

It’s a symbiotic relationship. The Titans also couldn’t care less about your fantasy football team.

If they tried to run Henry on that play and he didn’t get it, good chance they try a pass on the next play and also don’t make it because the redskins are ready for it and end up losing.

I am. It chases my wife to the other side of the house, so there's some upside to it all.

I laugh at this given I have Gurley (iffy), Beckham Jr (OUT), and Julio Jones (iffy). Having Henry get a modest score pales by comparison.

I have OBJ (OUT), JuJu (iffy), Hopkins a little gimpy. We all have our ####. In situations like that, getting every last point out of your guys can get you a win. I'm not sure why such a reaction to me being pissed off they didn't run that in. He was rolling along at that point and I highly doubt they would have stopped him.

I agree with you. I own Henry but didn’t make the finals. But if I had, I’d be all mad about that. Not sure why everyone is giving it the   and acting like it doesn’t matter.

Anyone not starting him? I'd kill myself if he throws a stinker in and my benched Fournette went off.
Fournette doesn't look like a very good RB. Not last year and definitely not this year. Oft injured and underperforming when on the field.

At least Henry has flashed potential and backed it up when given the opportunity.

The big question for me re: Henry is “does he now have 2019 value?” Should owners capitalize on his late season performance and deal him during the offseason or keep him in hope that he can perform at a high level for a full season during 2019?

With the Colts D improving, it is a real tough division defensively. I'll be drafting him but he isnt getting 200 yards every week.

I'd be happy with another 200 yards and three TDs this week ;)
Yeah. The Titans better get their OL in order. That's the only solution to those D's. I want Xyz to be added but most of all, that 10 or 12 sacks game was so reminiscent of a few years back. The times they couldnt run either. With Lewan and Conk it should not be hard but so bet they make it seem as such

Was so happy to be rid of him after keeping him the last two years. And now that he has shown life I’m stuck considering keeping him in the 9th round next year. SOB.

What happens today with him considering Mariota doesn’t start? Does Indy gear up to stop the run and see if Gabbert can beat them?

He looks amazing. Traded Alex Collins for him in Dynasty earlier this season.

I almost feel guilty.
Awesome.

In general, it amazed me how down on Henry people got. It's like they let the situation get to them. Situation is the elephant in the room & you have to deal with it.

Whether he was worth a 2nd in a mediocre 2019 class seems silly now which was my point back when it was being discussed (not too long ago).

It doesn't matter what Henry does the rest of this season, he should be considered a top long-term FF asset.
