RB Derrick Henry, BAL (3 Viewers)

Not sure the cap situation TN has to be able to make a trade and take on a contract of a guy like Mack or one of these others that have been rumored as available.

Also...don't see Indy giving them Mack unless they get a haul out of it.

Sucks for the Titans right now.  Henry is such a freaking beast and what makes their offense click.

As we see so often in this league...its hard putting so much on one guy...even a guy as big as Henry.
The Colts will not trade Mack to the Titans for obvious reasons, unless they rob them.

I sincerely believe he's the best. McNichols is the lesser third down back they have confidence in. Evans is the elite athlete third down back they don't have confidence in. Sargent reminds me of Joe Morris and he's the only one with sled dog tough many carries ability. Like I said above, it might take a week or so but he'll shine here.

He did well in preseason if you need highlights or quotes.

Hilliard was added last week and I don't think much of the journeyman
Thanks @Bri

I always depend on you for all Titans things

If it's broken pinky toe, I'm not understanding how this can be a season ending injury. Most people in their lifetime break a toe a few times at least. It hurts as hell, sure....but season ending injury. There has to be more than this or the season ending talk is just BS. If really just a broken outermost toe (name for pinky toe), it's a few weeks maybe. Not season ending. Even if it requires surgery.

I have had eihr Evans & Nichols on/off IR/rosters all year for my 4 redraft teams.

Of course now, when it actually matters, I have them on **checks app** ZERO teams.

I agree, but getting another RB that you might play is very important too.
Yeah, I’m sure I’m not the only one rotating one of Z Moss, J Williams, Collins, etc at RB2 and would love a shot at a bellcow with a predictable volume floor. Not sure we get that here but I’m watching.

This is such a shame on so my levels. We were watching something absolutely historic. Kind of feels like reliving the Bo Jackson injury.

Especially with Denver now in sell mode with the Miller trade.
Are they in sell mode? I mean a 2 and a 3 for guy over 30, who was likely gone this offseason isn't a precursor to more moves in my opinion.

I'm sure Denver would trade Gordon for a 2 or a 3, but I can't imagine the Titans offering anything close to that. The Rams are pretty reckless with trading draft picks.

probably a Jones fx. Poor blood flow, takes awhile to heal. Painful. Twelve week injury if they pin it, which they probably will since he puts so much force on his feet.

was just typing this - saw a response & refreshed, and stopped typing. This is exactly what it sounds like - he could be back for the playoffs, but it's also possible that the stress of his position could be detrimental to a possible return this year. It's an injury that's sidelined a ton of players for a while.

They haven't announced it as a Jones fx, but that's sure what it sounds like. Tough break. No pun intended.

We can speculate on who the Titans may trade for but even if Gordon was traded to the Titans, do we really think that Gordon would do much better than he's done to date?  The Titans aren't that strong a team IMO, it's Henry that makes them what they are and taking him out of the mix sinks the entire team probably like no other player in the NFL.  Just devastating for the Titans.

here is my problem with this. Again, toes and hands not my specialty but if it's a jones, then he should have never ever played on it. Not even know how he was able to even walk with it. I've seen patient in my early days with that injury and they where rolling in pain, not being able to walk on it. How the hell did he play a half of football if it's what it is. If the surgery is well done, he should be back in 5 to 6 weeks then.

he was in a lot of pain afterwards. He could have made it worse.

They're saying 6-10, so that checks out.  I imagine he'll need a week or 2 to get back into football shape, since ~2 months off might get his lower body a bit soft. I'm guessing he won't be able to work out his lower body during the absence?

Done. Putting in the bid on Sargent.  I put a decent amount of FAAB but not large one. Hoping my league mates blow their wad on McNichols and AP.

Gordon has looked pretty good this season. Especially considering the JV offense he's playing for. 4.5 ypc

Ronald Jones should start packing his bags and the Bucs should try and make this happen.

I've tried to come up with a short list and he seems to jump to the top, could do very ell in Tennessee after a week or two taking reps in their system. He's not Henry but he can find daylight thru some of those same holes that Henry bursts thru.

I really hope it's old man Peterson. It'd be fun seeing him have some success and watch a team rally around him. Not sure it's likely, but it'd be a fun story.

Silver lining……..this might extend his longevity. The carries he piles up year after year, I’m sure his body could use a break.

There is no way that getting injured extends anyone's longevity, for heaven's sake. Anyone who is in possession of a body should understand this.
