RB Emanuel Wilson, GB (1 Viewer)

He made the most of some great blocking and then carried some on one run in particular. Kind of neither here nor there on his ability

High on this kid and will try to find room for him this week. Jacobs has a lot of tread on the tires and could see him starting some games this year.

Who is cutting bait? This offense doesn’t look so hot or amazing to me, especially for rbs
Well, in redraft you're always going to see roster churning to help your current situation, but if you have room and you're a Jacobs owner, then make room for Wilson. If you're in a dynasty league, you make room for Wilson.

Snap counts: 4%, 7%, 23%, 30%.

Brooks 19%, 19%, 12%, 6%.

2025 ypc: 4.9 for Wilson, 3.3 for Jacobs.
2024 ypc: 4.9 for Wilson (on 103 carries), 4.4 for Jacobs.

Interpret, please?

The bye week is behind.

Can't look at this in a vacuum. How many short down/distance or goalline carries does Jacobs get over Wilson where he gets the TD, but his ypc is negatively affected?

I would want to see the yards over expected for a better comp.

Short yardage carries* as a percentage of total carries.

2024
Wilson: 10%
Jacobs: 4.9%

2025
Wilson: 6.6%
Jacobs: 11.2%

Total over the last 2 yrs
Wilson: 9.5%
Jacobs: 6.3%

So Wilson has actually had a higher percentage of his carries come in short yardage situations than Jacobs over the entire 2-yr span, although Jacobs has had a higher percentage so far this year.

If you remove their short yardage carries, the numbers for YPC are...

2024
Wilson: 5.1
Jacobs: 4.5

2025
Wilson: 5.0
Jacobs: 3.6

* For short yardage carries I used carries inside the 5 on any down, and also 3rd and 2 or less and 4th and 2 or less anywhere on the field.

I might start him if Jacobs is out. Don't own Jacobs. I just hope they announce it early. It's a 4:25 game.

Has there been news on Jacobs?

Thought he got a full practice in yesterday.
Reported to have a "calf strain" today. On top of the "illness" he's been battling all week.
An important pickup with the Jaobs news.
I wouldn’t drop anyone good until we hear that Jacobs is in danger of missing the game. Unless you’re playing lotto ticket RB.
I dropped K Miller for him. He's probably in a better backup position anyway when I think about it.

Picked him up in one league. In another I could do the same as you or drop I. Davis (who I picked up because it sounds like there's a real chance B. Hall is gone soon).

Don’t drop Davis

I roster Zonovan Bam Knight and Kendre Miller. Either one worth dropping for the speculative pick here? I mean all three are speculative but man, no clue what to do. Debating dropping Knight as they have a by next week and one week closer to Trey Benson return which muddies the waters even more. What to do?

I will say I truly, sincerely, expect Jacobs to play, but big FOMO spot if he sits. Hoping Schefty has news in his midnight dump
It's a tough one for a 4pm game. He might play, tweak something and then sit out the rest.
I own some jacobs and some wilson, if he's active you just play him and sit wilson and go from there.

Green Bay has not been crisp and I'd argue they should easily be 5-0. Do they think they can just beat Arizona without jacobs? Maybe that informs the decision?

The way they've played though, you can't take anything for granted

Not that this is definitive of anything but Vegas books have Emmanuel Wilson as -150 for any time TD. They also took Jacobs off the board.
Jacobs is back on the book right before the 1pm games. He's at -225. Wilson still at -150 though.
I never saw them even take Jacobs out. And I was looking like every hour.
He was out yesterday up until about 12pm today on MGM
