Yeah, no one announces they gonna rush players back, and put them at risk. They just do it.
Must be why he had a day off today.Yeah, no one announces they gonna rush players back, and put them at risk. They just do it.
Teams have rushed players back, all while preaching player safety. This is a fact, and it is a fair concern to have.Must be why he had a day off today.Yeah, no one announces they gonna rush players back, and put them at risk. They just do it.
It's a fair concern, but on the flip side just because Williams is "ahead of schedule" doesn't necessarily equate to him being rushed back and therefore at increased risk of setback. He’s surprised me thus far. I still think he could start the season off slowly - with Broncos holding him back a bit - with Perine getting more work, but obviously I’m guessing and he may keep pace and start the season as workhorse. It's a fair concern, but on the flip side just because Williams is "ahead of schedule" doesn't necessarily equate to him being rushed back and therefore at increased risk of setback. Maybe he is the next Adrian Peterson, 2000 yards here we come![]()
Please let us know who?zero shares, too many other good options at his ADP.
His current ADP is in the early 70s. That seems like a decent value to me. Curious as to who you like better in that region.zero shares, too many other good options at his ADP.

FF Calculator has him at pick 5.05 for 12 team .5 PPR drafts this past month.
I'd take almost every one of the next 20 players over Javonte. He is one of the most overvalued players, if not, the most overvalued player this year IMHO.
Seems reasonable....on par with Pachecko and Cook....maybe a higher ceiling depending on respective touches between him and Cook who is being pimped currently.FBG is showing his ADP at 6.5. To each their own. Williams has better upside than either guy imo. I assume you’re just talking redraft as I don’t think it’s remotely close in dynasty. (I just traded for javonte where I’m building)I'd take Pacheco & Montgomery for sure over Javonte.
I like Bell much more than the Twitter docs that get quoted. They are, as far as I can tell, a bunch of donkeys
Same. A lot of JK Dobbins 2022 comps have been floating around in terms of what kind of timeline for full recovery we can expect and I am officially dismissing that now, based on both players current status.I am surprised but I am feeling pretty good about this. Didn’t expect I would be saying that .
If I remember correctly with Dobbins it was him saying he would be ready and never the team.Same. I might underrate Pierce. Singletary is going to get a decent share.I'm pretty close to calling Williams a top-20 RB in redraft. I think he's easily arguable above guys like Dobbins and Sanders, let alone Montgomery, Pacheco, and Cook.
ETA: Hell, to be honest, I'm not sure he's all that different than Dameon Pierce.
Not only that, but if you used a pick on him, he was useful for what, 5 games at the end of the season? If I remember correctly with Dobbins it was him saying he would be ready and never the team.Same. The team was fairly optimistic too, he only ended up missing the first 2 games and even then it was considered being overly cautious. Dobbins' issue was he had a lot of scar tissue built up after the surgery, which they said they couldn't even detect on the MRI. After they went in and cleaned it all out they said it was much worse than they expected so they were very optimistic after that.If I remember correctly with Dobbins it was him saying he would be ready and never the team.Same. Honestly, those timelines should have been dismissed 5 months ago, and should never have existed. Dobbins is/was a gigantic outlier.Same. Decent might be 30%. Like Pierce probably isn't going to hit 20+ touches every week like he was for a stretch last season, but I think its a very clear #1 and #2 scenario.I might underrate Pierce. I was trying to account for how they both had ACL with PCL damage if I’m not mistaken, making them both outliers, but one year apart.Honestly, those timelines should have been dismissed 5 months ago, and should never have existed. More just saying Dobbins recovery was poor. Most guys will be back sooner from that injury than he was, and that I think there was a recency bias that because Dobbins just happened, that the expectation should be Dobbins timeline.I was trying to account for how they both had ACL with PCL damage if I’m not mistaken, making them both outliers, but one year apart.Honestly, those timelines should have been dismissed 5 months ago, and should never have existed. In other words I was led to believe that Javonte could face a very slow recovery this year like Dobbins did last year.
But are you saying there was more for Dobbins in 22? Infections and cleanups and whatever sand-in-vagina he’s still complaining about?
Benjamin Albright
"Miraculous" is not hyperbole when referring to his recovery.
Everyone is stunned.
Just finished my 100th underdog 1 QB draft today and I have 16%zero shares, too many other good options at his ADP.

Honestly those two things seem to contradict each other. I get they have medical clearance, but it still doesn't seem very smart to throw him out there yet.HC Sean Payton confirms RB Javonte Williams will play against the 49ers. Said he doesn’t yet know how many snaps he’ll get and noted the Broncos will be smart with him.
I'm going to be pretty freaking nervous every time he touches the ball. May have to have my wife hold me for emotional support during the game.
While obviously debatable, it is completely consistent with how Payton is treating everyone coming off injury. Only currently injured sit.Honestly those two things seem to contradict each other. Even an established vet like Randy Gregory (coming off meniscus surgery) played 10 snaps vs. AZ.
My guess is JW will be in the same range. 3-4 touches max IMO
yesDoesn't mid 6th and later seem worth the risk
Right I don't get the point in using a starting running back ever in pre-season. Especially one coming back from thatSure. I mean at some point he’s taking hits. I’m happily taking him over all of those players you named after Sean’s comments.in PPR redrafts anyone taking him over Conner, Swift, Kamara, Pacheco? Doesn't mid 6th and later seem worth the risk if Peyton is declaring him 100%?
