He would've had 22 touches if he wasn't blasting this defense for 10 yards a carry lmao
so imagine 22 touches for 120 yards and 2 TD's, but he did his damage in half the workload. His YPC is cut in half, and the game is shortened even more due to the increase in volume and clock churning. That looks more like Najee's game- 3 to 5 yard gains, break a few here and there. Najee is kind of like Bell in that matter. Taylor definitely has some Derrick Henry in him, but is churning out longer runs on a routine basis it appears. I'm not sure what the comp is for Taylor- Nick Chubb but with better receiving?
Yesterday was amazing game and for his longevity - less hits and less wear and tear!
I think one drive he scored 14-15 fantasy points. Man- he's good!
Only thing I'm concerned about is if Wentz is phantom benched due to the team not competing and not wanting to lose their first round pick. But Indy still has the talent to be a playoff team, so maybe we'll see. Wentz is playing well.
Honestly, stock up for the entire offense. I think Nelson is coming back soon too.
How many backs do you want over Taylor right now? Cook, Ekeler, Henry, Kamara, Zeke, then...?
I'll take Taylor over Chubb, Mixon, Henderson, J ROB, Najee. He's comfortably settled into the mid to high-end RB1 range right now.
You can arguably say that only Henry is ahead of him on this list
