RB Jonathan Taylor, IND (1 Viewer)

Six targets over the last two games going 3-57-0

Saquon has nine targets over the last two games going 8-30

Bijan has seven going 6-46

Gibbs has seven, zero this last game but still 20 yards, going 7-44-1

The surprising one is Breece Hall who has 13 targets over the last two games goin 11-83-1

I think JT is going to be fine with his passing numbers.
Rogers loves Hall. Rogers was amazed at how well Hall catches the ball. Hall is in the right place as well for Rogers and earning that trust is huge.

"Rodgers" doesn't love anyone from what I've seen. He traditionally knows the right playmakers to favor at any given time.

I know what you are getting at but it is very rare for Rodgers to compliment guys but also back it up with peppering him with targets. This is what Rodgers said this summer:

"Aaron Rodgers on Breece Hall: “it says a lot when your bellcow running back is No. 1 in your progression on goal line routes.”"

He loves Hall.

Jonathan Taylor looks to be the guy I drafted. A blue chip player with the ability to finish the year in the Top 5 RB and he’s likely to deliver double digit points consistently well on most weeks. Barring injury, he’s looking to be valuable down the stretch.
His 26-yard TD run was a thing of beauty. He looks to be back. Quick and shift and moves through the line very well.

His one designed target (screen?) he took 25 yards and then they only gave him 1 more target. I think there are some more very good games coming up from Taylor. Wish I had more shares of him. Tried trading for him last week in one league and no way that owner was budging. I can only keep trying.

Yes, his vision on that play was a thing of beauty.

Jonathan Taylor Injury: High-ankle sprain viewed as mild

Taylor was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain after Sunday's 27-24 win over the Steelers, but it's believed to be a mild version of the injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

This is rough. Rest up JT we need you back. He's had a great start to the season so far.
I don't think most would be surprised if he doesn't miss next week.
High ankle sprains are no joke. Sometimes players miss 3-4 weeks. Supposedly this one is "mild" - whatever that means.

I do agree though he probably misses a week or maybe even 2.
Well, "mild" means just what it says and is definitely positive news. Let's see how he does at practice this week.

I read that to mean that his last procedure was done to help in cases like this and aid in a faster recovery.
I kind of thought that too when I posted my response. I'm not a doctor, so I have no idea of a surgery like this can aide in recovery for the same type of injury to the same foot. Either way, the initial news on JT doesn't sound bad.

I just worry it was to the same ankle but I'm hoping the good news carries forward.

Any news?

:oldunsure:

You mean OTHER than this posted by RAO 5 minutes before?

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor says he’s still dealing with his ankle sprain and isn’t likely to practice today. It’s not a serious injury but there is still a lot of uncertainty around his availability for Sunday in Jacksonville.

I don’t have a crystal ball regarding Taylor, but it is clear Goodson is outplaying Sermon. Surely this is evident to the coaches.

I spent a decent chunk of FAB on him last week in anticipation Sermon wouldn't play, as I agree he looks significantly better. It reminds me of a lite version of the Bengals' RB situation, though they have no Taylor.
