Yup - a guy they didn't pick up his 5th year option on and is about to walk and get paaaaid. Raiders are such a poorly ran franchise. I feel bad for the fans.Raiders look like they are finally figuring out what they got...

The LV fans are in a much better place this season compared to the last three under Gruden. They can still extend JJ but were wise to see how he fits in the new McDaniels O. Jacobs looks great now and I hope he finishes strong and remains a Raider if the price is right. The Raiders don’t need to do something dumb like Dallas did with Zeke.Yup - a guy they didn't pick up his 5th year option on and is about to walk and get paaaaid. Josh Jacobs rushed 20 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns in the Raiders' Week 7 win over the Texans.
After rushing for a career-high 154 yards in Week 5, Jacobs continued his hot running in Week 7. Averaging an impressive 7.2 YPC on the afternoon, Jacobs scored from four, seven and 15 yards out, mauling the Texans' helpless defense all afternoon. Jacobs had seven carries of 10 or more yards on the day and has now rushed for 140+ yards in three-straight games. The Raiders are likely to continue feeding Jacobs as long as game script permits. Looking like one of the top backs in the league, Jacobs should be treated as an RB1 next week against the Saints.

Josh has always been a solid RB when healthy, but this year he's leveled up his quick twitch, noticably, without sacrificing his vision or power. Dude is easily playing like a top 5 NFL and fantasy RB right now. Stay healthy and hungry and reach greater, good man. 2022 be yours.
Who do we think the handcuff is for Jacobs when he inevitably breaks down?
Someone is mad they didn’t draft him; to answer your question, Zamir is the guy if Jacobs misses time. Anyone can get hurt, but I love betting on guys in contract years.Who do we think the handcuff is for Jacobs when he inevitably breaks down?
Not sure who the mad person is. I've got Jacobs, I'm just looking to get insurance. High volume RBs miss time. Best to be prepared. Hope to never need it.Someone is mad they didn’t draft him; to answer your question, Zamir is the guy if Jacobs misses time. Josh Jacobs rushed 17 times for 67 yards and caught three balls for 20 yards on three targets in the Raiders' Week 9 loss to the Jaguars.
It's been a tough last couple weeks for Jacobs with back-to-back scoreless games, rushing for a combined 27/110/0 line against the Saints and Jaguars. His down rushing day came with the Raiders actually nursing a 17-0 first-half lead, too, which is concerning, and it was a lead the Raiders eventually lost. Jacobs had a couple runs wiped out by penalties. He'll try to bounce back next week against the Colts, but we're seeing signs of pre-2022 Jacobs the last two weeks. He remains a rock-solid RB1/2 based on volume alone.

11 – Josh Jacobs has been relatively quiet over the past two weeks, producing just 141 scrimmage yards on 32 touches without a touchdown. But let the record show that he was credited by PFF with 11 missed tackles forced on Sunday, the week's second-highest total among all running backs. He's now tied with Nick Chubb for the NFL lead in missed tackles (51). The quality of his play has definitely not regressed, even if the fantasy totals have slipped. Without question, you can trust him against the Colts in Week 10.
Josh Jacobs (ankle) is questionable for Week 12 against the Seahawks.
Jacobs was surprisingly added to the injury report with an ankle issue on Friday. He got in a limited practice before being listed as questionable. This could be nothing, but fantasy managers should monitor the situation on Sunday. The Raiders play in the second window of games, so emergency replacements for Jacobs would be scarce. Zamir White could inherit Jacobs' work on the ground, but the rookie has been a healthy scratch multiple times this year.

Definitely White and Abdullah will be in on pass catching downsAnyone worth picking up?
Z. White?

Same here but Jacobs has played well through injuries before and has a contract on the line.Don’t like late week calf injuries - yuck
Top 15? I am thinking Top 10 and maybe higher, he has outplayed a lot of guys drafted way ahead of him.Feels top-15 in RB dynasty rankings. Maybe higher.
I’d say top 12-ish if his future was a more known quantity. As bad as a the raiders‘ record is, they use the heck out of him in that offense and he’d do well (and the raiders would do well) to resign him. Then the raiders have all of their offensive pieces in place (OLine even coming together) and then they can focus on defense, defense, defense. (Deja vu from the past 10+ seasons)Top 15? Might be steal of the year depends on where you drafted him. Guy is playing like a top 6-10 back.

He gets stronger as the game goes on and it was a complete joke that he even appeared on the injury report. There was obviously no doubt by the Raider brass that he was playing yesterday. Was so wrong about this guy preseason. Wanted none of him, got none of him, and hate myself for that. What a beast.

That was a rumor that was not true, he does have 4 kids though. He’s going to need it! I believe he has 7 kids with 7 different women. That’s going to be expensive
Thx for clarifying! Glad to hear that’s not true. That was a rumor that was not true, he does have 4 kids though. He’s going to need it! I believe he has 7 kids with 7 different women. That’s going to be expensive
I don't know that there's another current RB I'd want on the Raiders right now over Josh Jacobs.
FYI - officially, statistically a top-5 fantasy RB after week 7 - and the fantasy #2 RB overall PPG.
Hair on Fire
Special shout out to Raiders OL and Josh McDaniels' slow, but steady development of that unit in season. Nice lanes in the vid above.
