RB Josh Jacobs, GB (4 Viewers)

FWIW last week. He was sick too. Just went unreported.

“Throwing up during the game, after,” Jacobs said, via Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com. “I really don’t know where it came from. I just kind of woke up this morning just not feeling my best. But I told ’em, the last time that I felt that way, I had 130 (yards) and two touchdowns. So it is what it is.”

I think the full practice should mean he is good physically from calf strain.

The sickness might be more of a concern? Maybe it got worse? But not sure.

I feel a bit more optimistic.

Well my season is over if hes out. No Wilson and not enough FAAB
And after holding Wilson for 2 months, I dropped him this morning due to needing to get some other roster moves with injuries and byes. I figured I could just add him back this week

I’ve got Jacobs. I dropped Blue today for a different handcuff and stared at Wilson for a few minutes then elected to take a chance on Tucker. Who I didn’t of course start. Doubt I get Wilson in waivers I’m way down on priority. I’m happy with my trio of Barkley/Jacobs/Walker why didn’t I just take the guy that would cover one of my starters going down Godammit ??

I might be minority as Josh Jacobs owner.

I didn’t even feel the urge to pick up the backup here.

Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but if it is a contusion I expect they get the swelling down in time for him to play.

Risky to pass on the backup yea, but he has been proven to be tough.

You seem to be assuming a lot here. Risky to pass on Wilson? Well, duh, of course it is.

I was outbid for his backup so Im annoyed. My guess is he really has a PCL injury and they are just being coy by saying contusion. I think he definitely misses this week and possibly next. Two tough matchups for rbs though so I dont think Wilson will be some world beater.

Wilson has shown the ability to produce in that offense. Don't think I would sleep on him one bit.

Well this is wher Adobe is spending their cash...

Adobe (ADBE) announced on Wednesday that it intends to acquire software company Semrush (SEMR) in an all-cash deal worth $1.9B.

The deal values Semrush at $12 per share, a near 70% premium to yesterday's closing price of $6.76 per share.

Semrush has expertise in areas such as generative artificial intelligence optimization and search engine optimization and marketing, helping businesses with advertising, online reach and various other forms of brand visibility. And with consumers increasingly turning towards apps such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative AI chatbots, brands are increasingly relying on companies such as Semrush to put them in front of shoppers.

Semrush counts firms such as Amazon, JPMorgan Chase and TikTok among its customers.

“Brand visibility is being reshaped by generative AI, and brands that don’t embrace this new opportunity risk losing relevance and revenue,” said Anil Chakravarthy, president of Adobe’s Digital Experience Business, in a statement. “With Semrush, we’re unlocking GEO for marketers as a new growth channel alongside their SEO, driving more visibility, customer engagement and conversions across the ecosystem.”

“Adobe is an industry leader in helping marketers create personalized customer experiences at scale,” said Semrush CEO Bill Wagner. “With the advent of LLMs and AI-driven search, brands need to understand where and how their customers are engaging in these new channels. This combination provides marketers more insights and capabilities to increase their discoverability across today’s evolving digital landscape.”

Adobe already helps brands with products such as AEM, Adobe Analytics and the newly introduced Adobe Brand Concierge.

The transaction has been approved by both company's board of directors and is expected to close in the first-half of 2026, subject to required regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Semrush's founders and other stockholders, which account for more than 75% of the voting power of Semrush, have already agreed to vote in favor of the deal.

Anyone have the Semrush for a 74% gain bingo card?

I assume that Josh Jacobs has that bingo card

Jacobs hurt the week after I traded for him. :crying: Hopefully he makes it back for the FF playoffs.
At least it looks like a better outcome than my earlier trade for Tyreek Hill. He was hurt the week after I traded for him.

What a weird scoring system

I know how you feel. In a 14 team DEVY league, that I'm still fighting for a playoff spot, back in August I gave up Purdy, Tuten, and my 2026 Devy Pick for Joe Burrow. :ptts:I hope I can make the playoffs and Burrow comes back, but it's been tough sledding ever since.

How much FAAB would you drop in a Super deep league?

I'm in Scott Fish bowl, playoffs are starting this week, I need someone to fillin for a bye week. I have 54$/100$ left and tempted to just blow it all. Gotta survive at this point, ya know. Gonna suck if Jacobs plays, but it's not like Waivers are bountiful.

I would spend it all. Who in the hell has the playoffs starting with bye weeks still to go? Isn't that kind of dumb?
