Report: Latavius Murray expected to play


ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Latavius Murray (concussion) is expected to play Week 10 against the Vikings.
Murray declared himself symptom free on Thursday. As long as he does not suffer a setback, he should be good to go. If Murray does sit, Caplan said to expect Roy Helu to see "a decent amount of work." Helu was a surprise inactive last week.

He will. He's injury prone. Even in college. He's a fantastic prospect but he'll never stay healthy long enough to help any of us.

But so far this year he is running back #15 in most standard leagues, and he is averaging over 16 touches a game.

I don't know what kind of fantasy world some of you live in, but this is exactly the type of guy I go out of my way to acquire.

I very rarely ever draft a RB in the first couple rounds, and these are the type of guys I LOVE to get to help me have successful seasons.

I was disappointed in Murray ... I expected him to be an absolute beast this year 1500 Total yds and 12 tds.

But he is terrible at the Goal Line which has costed him at least 2-3 tds and he hasn't busted any long tds.

Of course I would gladly take him over the fat inactive sasquath that I traded him for.

Watch. He runs to upright and gets smashed every game. Plus he's been putting the ball on the ground to much lately. I was on the train but this year he's kind of shown me why he wasn't drafted higher. I'm not sure he's a RB.

With all the injuries and RBBC at the position, not sure why Murray wouldn't at least be a hold to you. He's getting the touches, some games are better than others, but it's not like he's been a bust. Wouldn't think his trade value is worth anything much better in return.

I agree. He just looks stiff and fumble prone, nothing like he did in college or the guys we seen previously what was a break away threat from anywhere.

Played Hightower over him last week. I am tempted to play Murray this week - the Chargers showed some signs of life last week, but suspect they will fold tomorrow night. I did get C. Michael off the wire, and am trying to decide between the two.

I havent seen recent games, but has he even had any carries inside the 5 yd line in the past month? The last TD he scored, I think he got 2nd shot at it after Reece got stuffed. Hes getting decent RB 2 volume but TDs have been really scarce.

Opponent has Peterson, Martin and Freeman...#1-3 RBs rolling out against me. Thankfully Freeman is against Carolina again...Id be happy with a repeat there (as long as Julio doesn't also repeat that for me)

We have been #1 and #2 in the league all year...Ive been 2 of his 3 losses on the year. But my team is so beat up. I like Bryant for a big day against Balt (though, Wheaton emerging has me worried and Brown always gets his)

Its sooo hard to bench a guy that has a good chance at 20 carries in a plus matchup. Carr just throws so many 10+ yd TDs which rarely puts them inside the 5 yd line. He is getting the work though if they get there. I currently have him in over Shoelace Hightower and Miller.
