Aren't the weather conditions supposed to be lousy tonight? How is Murray in those conditions? Any worries that Reece has a larger role?
Olawale has been getting the carries recently, not Reece. Carr has actually had more rushing attempts recently than all the backupsAren't the weather conditions supposed to be lousy tonight? How is Murray in those conditions? Any worries that Reece has a larger role?
So that's a good thing then. Murray at least has been getting carries. Guy is so due to bust a long one!Olawale has been getting the carries recently, not Reece. Well that's good because I was worried you were not reading the Weather Channel correctly.Weather Channel says chance of rain drops from 80% to 20% around game time. Full disclosure, I am on East Coast
The NFL box score is saying a penalty was accepted which ended the half. That wasnt the case. The referee said both were declined which would allow the outcome of the play to stand.I wasn't watching the game but it looks like MFL took some pts away?
Not sure how it can't. It was a play, reception, and no penalty since it was declined to end the half.I hope it gets reversed then. I can use all the points i can get.
Only speculation I've heard is the coaches actually accepted the penalty, although it was announced by the referee as declined. Story makes sense, but that is speculative. So any reason as to why the hell they took away that reception at the end of the first half?
If they accepted the penalty, wouldnt there have been one more play?Only speculation I've heard is the coaches actually accepted the penalty, although it was announced by the referee as declined. No clue if we will see a correction; my guess is we will not
According to ESPN's play by play and the official ruling on the field, both penalties were declined. The yardage should be awarded.the half would be over either way, no need to give away free yards.
according to the play by play on nfl.com one of the penalties was accepted.

Lateral to 15-M.Crabtree to SD 49 for no gain (50-M.Te'o). Penalty on OAK-68-J.Feliciano, Illegal Block Above the Waist, declined. PENALTY on OAK-66-G.Jackson, Ineligible Downfield Pass, 0 yards, enforced at OAK 46 - No Play.
There is no reason for a defensive team to decline a penalty and let a play stand that resulted in yards allowed.According to ESPN's play by play and the official ruling on the field, both penalties were declined. The yardage should be awarded.the half would be over either way, no need to give away free yards.

Agreed...but we're not evaluating how smart it was. We're trying to figure out why the ref verbalized that both were declined but now they are saying one was enforced. There is no reason for a defensive team to decline a penalty and let a play stand that resulted in yards allowed.According to ESPN's play by play and the official ruling on the field, both penalties were declined. Espn play by play still shows both declined. It was a gain of 4 yards net and the half was over. I could easily see a coach getting confused and thinking if they accepted the penalty that there would be another play.Agreed...but we're not evaluating how smart it was. Highly unlikely. Anyone who has followed football for more than a week knows a half cannot end on a defensive penalty, but can on an offensive penalty.Espn play by play still shows both declined. Highly unlikely? Coaches still do stupid ridiculous stuff all the time. They challenge plays that can't be challenged. They question calls that are no-brainers. Split second decision on an inconsequential play when half is over? Super easy to say declined and go into the locker room without giving it a second thought.Highly unlikely. I just find it odd at this point that an official explanation hasn't been released. Maybe they have, but if they havent it just seems weird. There have to be thousands of people scratching their heads asking where did my points go???4th and 4 at OAK 46

MJD died? He'll see less carries than last year, might be an improvement. Coaching staff doesn't seem very high on him. Would not feel comfortable owning him without also owning DeAndre Washington who looks like MJD reincarnated.
I made sure to get Washington in the one league I have Murray.Washington has a much more well-rounded skillset. He will make this a full blown RBBC by midseason, stealing the lion's share of the receiving stats IMO. Lat buyers beware.
