I don't believe this for one second. But I'm wondering - if Najee's eye is as bad as I'm thinking, why hasn't LAC made a move? Does everyone just slide on up the depth chart?

Doesn’t your post seem logically adversarial to you? You don’t believe he’ll be ready but you wonder why they aren’t seeking additional help to fill the hole he leaves if he isn’t ready.
Maybe they aren’t seeking help because he is ready or close to being ready?

I know I sound stupid and that's fine. It's why I worded it that way. On one hand, I think Najee's eye is serious to the point where he may lose peripheral vision. Harbaugh basically said he'll be ready when he's ready, which means nothing. Now the GM is hopeful he will play week 1 and is calling him ready? I'm not buying it. And he isn't practicing with the team. Working off to the side isn't practice - it's rehab. And how do you rehab an eye?

I would never say you sound stupid. I was just wondering if you considered how potentially oppositional the two positions were.

There’s nothing contradictory about it, really. He expects him not to be ready and for them to lie about it while making obvious moves that contradict their lying.
That sounds like the NFL. Hell that sounds like a lot of things these days.

What obvious moves? The last time they added a RB was July 22nd. Winz clearly stated that he was wondering why they weren’t making moves as part of his pondering.

Yeah, I'm baffled. I don't think Najee is anywhere close to a return, while at the same time we haven't seen movement at the RB position. Possible reasons:
- I am completely wrong. Najee is in great shape and ready to go.
- I am completely right. Najee is toast and LAC is content with the scrubs behind Omarion.
- LAC is secretly looking for another RB.
