He makes for a good "chaperone" RB for the early part of the season while the younguns you also draft start earning larger work loads and you can start them after the first 4-6 weeks

True RBBC until Marks takes reign. Woody's pass catching ability, age and quickness gives me a chub. He passed the eye test and looked great preseason.

Picked him up. Did much better than many others against a pretty tough LAR D. Eh...why not hang on right now?

I’m very encouraged in the short term while Mixon is out and Marks is green.

I’m sticking with Chubb in the Flex until I see how things play out more.

im thinking of doing the same (bijan 24 yds). my other options tho are ekeler and stevenson (kill me)

He may be. But, starting RBs are pretty scarce. I think Houston's schedule against the run is easing up? And, no. They didn't let him score on purpose. It was 2nd and 9 at the 25 with 2:17 on the clock and the Bucs had 3 timeouts. They had 10 guys in the box and were run blitzing for a no gain stop or TFL to try to get them into 3rd and long before the 2:00 minute warning. Chubb just found a seam between Vea and Logan Hall.

If you hold to a FG there then it only takes a FG to win. If you let them score and they get a two point conversion then you still need 7 just to tie.

Not even the most adept game analyst or time management guru would have advocated they let them score there. I'm surprised it's a narrative at all.
