I am not a fan of graphic violence or splatter movies, but didn´t have a problem with the movie. If you could watch Oldboy, there is not much of a difference. That trailer frightens and confuses me. Will it be too much for me to stand?Sympathy for Mr. Vengeangance![]()
it's in my netflix queue.Should I see The Matador?
Yes, both Kinear and Brosnan are great in it.Should I see The Matador?
I don't recommend it. Yes, Brosnan and Kinnear are good in the film. But the last 20 minutes is just awful. If you like to see good performances with a lame ending, then you won't mind it.Should I see The Matador?
How could you have ever known that a love story about two people living a couple of years apart who communicate through some king of magical mailbox would be bad?If your spouse or s/o ever brings home The Lake House run as far away as you can as fast you can.![]()

Yes.Should I see The Matador?
I had it sent for my wife since she's off on Monday. At least I won't have to watch it.If your spouse or s/o ever brings home The Lake House run as far away as you can as fast you can.![]()
I just watched Annapolis.
It has every cliche from every military movie I've seen in the last 20 years (even a hint of Rocky) but it still had a good story, few funny lines, feel good movie and was worth a rental. I'd give it![]()

Jordana Brewster
That's exactly what I would say about Ronin. Not great, but a very good car chase that's worth seeing.jamny said:Finally saw Ronin. I'm a big DeNiro fan but this was one of his that I never got around to seeing. The movie itself is nothing special but it has some of the best car chases I've seen in a long time. No cgi here, just the real stuff.
Good movie, nothing special. two and a half stars.
Just a boring, dreary film. The essence of a good film noir is a dark plot with actors that are good enough to pull off a sullen, brooding tone. Well, Brick tells me that 20 year old actors cannot do this material.Brick- Horrible, do not watch this movie.
I thought Ronin also had a very good cast.Just saw Dark City. Different with lots of atmosphere. That's exactly what I would say about Ronin. Watched it 2 years ago...I still can't figure it out.Watched Primer last night. Low budget flick about time travel. Not really sure I understand it fully yet. Decent low budget flick with a cool idea.Anyone else who has seen it care to explain it to me?
that's as dense a film as i have seen. i understood about 1/2 of it and i think i'm being generous with myself.Watched it 2 years ago...I still can't figure it out.Watched Primer last night. I couldn't take my eyes off it. Mulholland Drive-y in its ambiguity and question-mark-over-the-head-ness.that's as dense a film as i have seen. i understood about 1/2 of it and i think i'm being generous with myself.Watched it 2 years ago...I still can't figure it out.Watched Primer last night. i am really surprised by your lukewarm response to it. it is a very gentle kind of comedy for the most part. it's not high comedy or art for that matter but i found it very funny. i found it vaguely affirming and sort of feel good.Little Miss Sunshine
meh. C+. it wasn't what i expected. there were some funny moments. but all in all it was more depressing than funny.
I liked it too. Depressing at times, laugh out loud at others, and I agree.....affirming of the family when you got nothing you still got them.i am really surprised by your lukewarm response to it. it is a very gentle kind of comedy for the most part. it's not high comedy or art for that matter but i found it very funny. i found it vaguely affirming and sort of feel good.Little Miss Sunshine
