Last night I watched Idiocracy and added Boss Level and some messed up looking movie titled Koko-Di, Koko-Da?
At some point, I will catch-up with the other 2 Creed movies. This morning I am going with the other big boxing movie that I somehow never saw: Ali. I love Michael Mann movies but always avoided this since I am not a big Will Smith fan, know the story too well and that I could just watch actual Ali footage. We shall see. This film was way better than it had any right to be as a blind concept. That's mainly because of Coogler and Jordan. As with all of the Rocky movies, the timelines get a little screwy.Just now finally getting to Creed. No idea why I waited this long as I like the original Rocky movies and like boxing. This is just good movie making. It's a little ridiculous of course but it hits all the beats you want in a sports movie. The fight scenes are so well filmed and more realistic than we usually get.
Coogler didn't direct the next two (though I think he produced them). Creed II has callbacks to just about every Rocky film. Creed III (IIRC directed by Jordan) has a couple of surreal moments, but I think may be the best of the three just for the performances.
I keep waiting for federal funding going towards electrolytes for farming.Last night I watched Idiocracy and added Boss Level and some messed up looking movie titled Koko-Di, Koko-Da?
Never saw it as like you, not a huge Will Smith fan and I grew up watching all those fights. Really don't want to tarnish memories. At some point, I will catch-up with the other 2 Creed movies. I reject Safety Not Guaranteed as a time movie.Couple others that fit the bill
Happy Death Day
In the Shadow of the Moon
Safety Not Guaranteed
The One I Love (maybe a bit of a stretch here but I think it fits)
Totally Killer

I’m probably wrong, but I came away from the movie thinking that the final scene wasn’t time travel, and that he never went back to fix the car crash - he was a creepy stalker and not an expert in time travel, and the chances that they traveled at the end were low - more likely they just got deleted. But the topic is time travel even if I don’t really think there was any, so it can be a time movie. Why?I reject Safety Not Guaranteed as a time movie.Couple others that fit the bill

I remember liking this but nothing more about it.
a movie missing from the list is miss peregrine's home for peculiar children, it was on earlier and I ended up watching almost all of it. Not the best but entertainingFighting this post a bit - I'll see if I can get it to work.where's @Tick ...he just went through a bunch of time movies.
Really irritating - it's moving the IMDB ratings column around.

One i have been afraid to watch.cloud atlas?
It has to do with your theme and it's a 21 century so you'll just have to power through it, soldier! One i have been afraid to watch.cloud atlas?

Lol. It does check the boxes, and I had considered it but I had to check off a few other new to me movies instead. It has to do with your theme and it's a 21 century so you'll just have to power through it, soldier! One i have been afraid to watch.cloud atlas?

Don’t think I ever got through it the first time. I admire the ambition and the scope but it was boring as hellBoyhood was another I had really high as a possible rewatch, but I couldn't talk myself into it.![]()
I do want to watch it again but I remember being bored and disappointed the first time. The concept is smart and difficult to execute so I appreciate what Linklater was going for but it just wasn't that compelling and I don't think the children developed into interesting actors.Boyhood was another I had really high as a possible rewatch, but I couldn't talk myself into it.![]()

Saw the Zep doc.
I consistently forget- despite all of those guys being insanely talented, what an absolute genius Page is/was. He made a "follow your dreams" kind of comment that reminded me of the tone of Pele's autobiography. better advice- be a goat unique genius...AND THEN follow your dream. The rest of us can just go and do stuff and try to enjoy it. I felt like the doc slowed down with full performances of songs, even though i enjoyed seeing them.

Harrison Ford could have toned it down a bit but I liked it. It could have been heavy handed but wasn't.
When I was a kid I had a book series called ValueTales. The one I remember most is Courage which, of course, was about Jackie Robinson.
Nobody 2 coming out in a few weeksNobody on Prime.
Like a much more fun John Wick. I enjoyed it.
I can't think of many "combos", to be fair. I think they are a bit overrated, so i can think of better sci fi movies, though.Hard to remember a better recent sci-fi combo than Dune I & Ii
Was really looking forward to this movie when it came out and was thoroughly disappointed with it for all the reasons you mentioned. Slow, boring, never seemed to get there and the ending was less than satisfying. If someone is thinking this is a Indiana Jones type adventure, this ain't it.So I watched The Lost City of Z, a docudrama about Major Percy Fawcett. I was ok, I guess. Critics liked it I suppose, 86% on RT while fans mostly didn't like it, 54%. A much more reasonable 6.6 on IMDB and to steal a line from @TripItUp Appropriately ranked. It was slow, long, kind of boring. I thought they could have told the story and left out several scenes. Some unrealistic stuff as well. I don't really like the ending that much (and I doubt that's what happened IRL, though possible) It was based on a book, don't know how faithful it is to the book but its possible that the ending and some of the other stuff were included since it was in the book? I don't think this is a must watch, I might even suggest to skip it and find something better to do with your 2 hours but you could find a worse movie to watch.
Yul brenner remake of 7 samurai, or the remake of the remake?Last night was the Coen's True Grit, and i watched a little of the Magnificent Seven remake.
