My being a season ticket holder was only stated to point out that I "might" know more about "my" team than the average joe or Jill toting around the Stat Dominator on his or her laptop.
Yeah - exactly, pizzatyme - so show that knowledge instead of turning on the "obnoxious-meter" to 11.Many folks actually consider "homer-ism" a negative in discussing fantasy projections. Show me you actually have knowledge instead of "fandome" in making your statement that Wayne's now SUDDENLY the man inside the 5.

Seems to me that you can't - so, instead, you are getting your back up and making obnoxious, snide statements directed at me.
Marc, show me your knowledge about the Colts! Tell me your projections, based on your infinite resources. Then, whadda ya say we agree to rehash this issue around week 8 and see who comes closer to their projections, whether they be based on mindless homerism or "statistical knowledge". Fair enough?
Is there really a need for you to be a pr*ck to Marc? Hes backing his assumptions up and you are making yours on your "feel" even though your "feel" led you to project Reggie Wayne to have 11.8 ypc this year, down nearly 4 yards a catch from last year. You might do well to listen to Marc, he knows of what he speaks.

This is NOT about MY knowledge - it is about yours. And you aren't displaying any. A "just wait and see - I'm a homer and I know my team" attitude is not helping along your case. YOU made the statement - not me.

It is up to YOU to back up the statemnt when all the stats don't back you up.

btw - you want the projections?Fine.I project, by week 8, inside the five:Harrison - 5 targets, 2 catches, 2 TDsWayne 5 targets 2 catches, 2 TDs.There. My numbers don't show Wayne is the "man" inside the 5, but they are respectable numbers and they are identical to Harrison's - which would be in line with the last three years.

well well, thanks for coming to the rescue! If you read my initial post jack###, you can plainly see that it was my opinion and not stated as fact! Marc plucked out the 1 line in what I said and based his whole retort on that!Once again, another shark lurking to jump on any mistake made in these threads. All of you can go take your holier than thou crap and shove it in the appropriate receptacle!

Mr. Levin, how many leagues did you enter last season and how many did you win? Since you want to portray yourself as the expert and are regarded as such, please let us know your track record! I will be happy to provide links to all of my leagues if you'll do the same. We can track, publicly, our week by week results.

My results will be based on a combination of analysis and gut instincts. You can make your case for why you got your results.

Then we can make a spreadsheet and put in our average finishing records. From this we should be able to plug these numbers into my "Where did you finish last season Dominator" program and predict next seasons results too!

The point is that this is not an exact science. I injected my opinion, I was called out as stating it as fact. When in FACT anyone with more than a 3rd grade education should have been able to see that it was opinion and not factually based.

Should I look for you on week 8? Would you like my league names and team names? Will you provide yours as well?

Chat soon~

you are going off the meter here. Yes - I pulled the one line I disagreed with and asked you to defend it. The rest of this has been you going WAY overboard.FYI, I was in 8 leagues last year, I came in first or second in all of them except two. In those two, I made the playoffs in one, missed the playoffs in the other.

No, I think I'll pass on your sophomoric let's see how we each do in our leagues challenge - as if that is any kind of response to my asking you to back up - with facts - an opinion you made about Wayne's numbers inside the five.

I have nothing to prove, but it seems you really have a need to bait me. I asked you to defend a statement you made - you made the statement, not me.
