Talk about tight, 5 teams with 15 points of Old Mil for the last playoff spot.

This week is a good example of why even all play isn't always best representative of best teams. 12-1 team scored 10.25 more points than 5-8 team. Probably an outlier but pretty interesting.

Roughly 15 points between 6th place and 11th place.

We've got Max, Hook, and Beltway running away from the rest of the league. Everyone else has a fighting chance for the playoffs outside of Valence.

The top two teams can pretty much coast in. I was referring to the large number of teams fighting for the last two slots. You got pounded this week with byes and weren't that careless. Bad luck cost you five plus wins and probably 30-50 pts. Pictus drafted three QBs and still took a zero this week. Several teams have very little margin for error. Between weeks 9-11 50% of the rostered players won't post a score in one week. Throw in the injured/suspended players and percentage gets higher. I was thinking due to the best ball format, scoring will fluctuate more with fewer bullets in the chamber. I'm pretty sure you would trade Nelson for Sanders or at least consider it a push. If you had Nelson this week rather than Sanders you would have lost 30 points and 3 wins. Over the next three weeks a lot of teams with limited bullets will be hoping for a Sanders type week from their limited resources.

I didn't get "pounded" with byes in Week 8 - I didn't have Kaepernick which was compounded because of losing McCown. Jennings has been hurt so again that was injury but he would have been off anyway. BUT losing Spiller and Khiry Robinson and Donald Brown so I had no active running backs was bad luck and the problem for at least a few more wins.

A combination of 30 max wins and Stinkin Bass losses get him a first round bye. Beltway and Stinkin Bass would need to squander 120+ pt leagues to miss the playoffs.

That leaves Hook, Pictus, Nittany, and DW battling for the last 3 spots. Three are separated by 5 wins, three are separated by 15 pts. The next 5 in the standings still have a shot, but need a big point week soon to get into the race.
