Strictly in my opinion, of course:

1. Westbrook

2. Addai

3. LT

4. Jacobs

5. Ryan Grant

6. FWP

7. Bush

8. Lynch

9. Kevin Jones

10. Selvin Young, so long, of course that you know who gets suspended in time.

Amazing that only 4 of these guys were on anyone's top ten list at draft time, isn't it? But these ten are the ones I would want...

(Numbers 11-15would include Portis, Jackson, Chatman, White, and Chester Taylor, if ADP doesn't come back, not necessarily in that order.)

My opinion

1. Westbrook

2. LT

3. Addai

4. Sjax

5. Jacobs

6. FWP

7. Bush

8. Kevin Jones

9. Grant

10. Selvin Young if the starter next week; Portis if not

I am actually hesitant to even post this, as I never put projections in order; moreover, I think PPR/NonPPR makes a huge difference, so just take these with a grain of salt.

You have SJax pretty high. Im skeptical about one game back from injury, so I put chatman in my top 10 instead. People seem to ignore Chatman, he's putting up fine numbers and should continue to do so...

yeah, i agree that the kid can play...thats why i really dont have an idea of who is going to do what..if this season has been any indication, we may likely see more changes

Completely forgot about Lynch- just edited my list to include Lynch

I think that Jamal Lewis deserves a spot in the top 10 for the playoffs too. After he ranks 15th and 13 in my two leagues. and his schedule, WOW

week 14 jets

week 15 buffalo

week 16 cincy

week 17 sanfran (for whoever uses thefinal week)

What are all of you smoking? Assuming playoffs are week 15 & 16, here is how I would rank the backs:

1- Addai

2- LT

3- Florence Maroney (hate to place him here, but NYJ and MIA??)

4- Jamal Lewis (by far easiest schedule)

5- Earnest Graham

6- Westbrook (Dallas and NO)

7- Jacobs (Buffalo week 16)

8- Grant

9- McGahee (MIA week 15)

10 - dunno..... too may ties

he may do fine, but I don't trust his durability. I would not be real confident starting Lewis in the playoffs, even against those teams. The guy I own that I'm most afraid of is Kevin Jones, because of injuries and schedule. The guy I really want in to put in his place is Selvin Young. I think Young will be GREAT in the playoffs, but Travis had got to be suspended first. I don't care how injured he is, if Henry avoids suspension you can't dare start either of them with elimination on the line.

Obviously not as good of stuff as you. Maroney #3? It is week 11, and the guy has yet to score a TD, or rush for 100 yards. In his last game, he wasnt even on the field for half of his teams offensive plays.

Whatever I'm smoking, it must be different from what you're smoking? Will you really trust Maroney in the playoffs, with your season on the line? #3 overall? Will you really trust Lewis or Graham? Sounds pretty desperate to me...

What are WE smoking? Where is week 14 in your playoffs?? :goodposting:

What about Edge? He's been solid and has a great schedule. I'd rank him in the 8,9,10 tier
He has averaged less than 4 yards per carry in each game over the last six weeks. He only has 2 TD's, and caught 3 passes over the last 5 weeks. I just do not think those are RB1 numbers.

Rudi Johnson has an excellent playoff schedule to work with:

Week 14 12/9/2007 St. Louis 1:00pm

Week 15 12/15/2007 @San Francisco 8:15pm

Week 16 12/23/2007 Cleveland 1:00pm

Week 17 12/30/2007 @Miami 1:00pm

So even though he has not produced to date, there is a chance for this #1 draft choice to propel a team to their Fantasy Championship.

I think Maroney needs to be on this list. He's healthy now, and with Morris on IR, his opportunities will increase. On that offense, the fantasy points will come.

Actually he ran for 100 yards once so far.

Lets talk Maroney after week 13. I think NE will start to feed him the ball 20+ times. I do not think much of his talent, but just because he is a NE RB, expect atleast 4 YPC. NE will also be playing more in the cold weather. I expect them to exploit the run more often.

Portis not in those lists over flavor's like Grant and Young are just plain crazy..
Portis' schedule for FF playoffs:CHICAGOat NY GIANTSat MINNESOTAthis doesn't bode well for Clinton, which is why he's off my top 10.
Minny is the only one to worry about on that list. Chicago isn't what it once was.
If Grant torched Vikes, so can CP.
I wouldn't make that assumption. Defenses/Offenses like players do have a down game now and then. Grant may have just been the benefactor of the Vikes game planning to stop Favre.

Ok, I am here to make my case for Edge.

9th leading rushing. #4 in attemps per game.

5 upcoming games against the bottom Run Ds in the NFL. (STL,ATL,SF,CIN,CLE) Wont face a team higher than 13th ranked run D.

Finally getting solid QB play. WRs are healthy. The D is starting to stop teams.

I only wish he would catch a few more passes.

I hope he does well, but lately Edge seems to start games hot and then the Cards get away from the run as the game progresses. He has also been pulled at the goal line pretty consistently. It's pretty frustrating.

Is PHI going to keep running Westbrook late in the season when they're already out of the playoffs while knowing that they're removing tread from a guy that is notorious for getting injured? Why? Will McNabb play the last few games or will they give some starts to Kolb? If Kolb then will they play rest Westbrook for Buckhalter or play Westbrook to get a better idea of what they really have with Kolb?

The way the NFC is shaping up, Id be shocked if 6-8 teams werent still in the hunt week 16.

James has a good schedule, but that's really about all he's got going for him. Since week 2 he's got 3 TDs. Since week 3 he's been averaging 3.3YPC. Shipp has started getting carries on the goal line. Arrington is seeing more action as well. James has 10 receptions on the year and is a non-factor in the passing game. Arizona has remained committed to the run nearly every game but James has only had one 100yd game.

That's Maroney's Nickename given to him by those who believe he plays like a women...guitarmonkiy

I would add Jones-Drew for consideration. Also, if you believe Rudi has value based on matchups, you have to like Gore's schedule through the playoffs.

:lmao: Haven't heard that one, sorry. As far as the way my name is spelled, long story not worth explaining, but was intentional.

Negative. As a Maroney owner I'd love for this to be true. But NE uses too many packages. They bring in Vrabel and Seau in goalline situations as their backfield. They also still use Faulk and that Eckels guy. Maroney is a HUGE bust this year...and possibly for his duration in NE. I wouldn't want any part of him in my lineup.
