Fisher can search all he wants, he's not too likely to find a 250 touch guy in that backfield until after next year's draft. And even if a guy or two go down to injury it's pretty likely to unfold with one of Pead / Richardson getting catches and Cunningham / Stacy getting carries. And then there's the line...

Why do I have this feeling that in two weeks Richardson will be getting the vast majority of the carries again? It's not like the coaches don't see these guys everyday and know what they're capable of. The bottome line is that none of them are great and the line sucks out loud. They started Richardson because they thought he gave them the best chance to win. They were probably right.

Richardson is not a feature back, he's better used in a COP role. He's completely bombed when given a lot of carries.

And who on their roster is better suited than he is??

I had to cut bait with Richardson this week when someone dropped Bryce Brown. I would rather take my chances with Brown and if Shady gets injured he should be a very nice addition to my lineup.

How can we answer this? Nobody else has had a chance

Albert Breer just "confirmed that zac Stacy is starting today vs jags.

"NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Sunday that the Rams will start Zac Stacy at tailback against the Jaguars.

Stacy may lose change-of-pace carries to Daryl Richardson and/or Isaiah Pead, but he's going to get the first opportunity to demonstrate a "hot hand" versus Jacksonville's beatable run defense. The Jaguars are allowing 5.21 yards per carry -- the fourth largest average in football -- and have silver plattered a league-high nine 20-plus-yard running plays. Stacy is a high-ceiling, if admittedly risky flex option in this favorable matchup."

Big whiff by FBG
Yeah, I don't know how FBG missed how this has unfolded. It was so obvious.
They all probably have me on ignore when in fact they should be paying me to post at this site. I've been telling people for weeks that the guy to keep an eye on was Cunningham. Not Pead, not Stacy. Cunningham.
How many weeks?

Through 5 games Cunningham has fewer than 3 carries a game and less than 3 yards/carry.
