Ricky Williams-key late pick was good for me! (1 Viewer)

I know several of you drafted Ricky Williams late on a flyer or sleeper thinking he might rebound and become effective again. Well he did. In fact thanks to Ricky I won 3 of my 4 championships this because of his late season heroics. So hats off to my man Ricky! You were :moneybag: in the end!

Wow. Dude the odds of making it to 4 championship games in one fantasy football season is rare. To win 3 is crazy, unless you play in 50 leagues. You must have had the "perfect season" or you play against chumps. Congrats regardless.

Thanks for the props. I guess I should clarify. I won 4 championships and Ricky helped me in 3 of them.I played in 7 H2H and 5 survivor leagues. As for my level of competition, nothing but top notch. Most of the guys I play aginst are from this board and they are very good! Winning against them makes it all the sweeter!

Where will Ricky be next year
Sounds like he's still in Miami. Unless a team makes a trade for Ricky that makes Miami a better team, he will likely remain in Miami. The cap number is just way too good for them.

You're a great competitor FM, congrats! :moneybag:  :suds:

What if Seattle decides Alexander is asking for too much money and they trade for Ricky (and have no backup worth a crap)?Far fetched, yes, but play along. Where would you take him? Top 5?

He would have to be considered a top 5 pick, with some probably taking him #1.

Thanks Cecil. That's high praise coming from you brother! But I really didn't mean for this to about me. I thought perhaps there were others that had success with Ricky. I know there are more of you out there. Talk to me!

Interesting scenario. I agree Ricky would be a high pick. I do not think anyone would take Ricky #1 because of his past. There are still some questions that linger but clearly he would be very good in that system. A top 5? I would say #5 behindLT

Alexander (depending where he is)

LJ

Edge (depending where he is)

Ricky? If he's in Seattle as suggested above I could see it happening.
