Unless my eyes deceive me, Indy has only allowed 2 passing TDs this year (1st). And only allowing 189.4 passing yards per game (9th).
At home, IND averages 190.6 yards, 0 TDs, and 1.2 INTs per game.
On the road, they average giving up 207 yds per game, with 0.4 TDs and 0.8 INTs. They've held 3 teams to under 200 passing yards on the road, with only HOU and PIT getting more (246 and 280 respectively. Both Passing TDs were allowed on the road, so there's some hope there.
Granted, Rivers is leading the NFL with 21 passing TDs (1st), along with 2,431 yards (6th) and 10 INTs (Tied for 7th).
Only Aaron Rodgers and Sage Rosenfels completed 1 TD pass each against Indy, and they shut everyone else out. They've given up 15 rushing scores, but that can't have affected the passing game that much to completely make teams abandon the pass.
Just throwing a log on the fire. I can't believe anybody would bench Rivers, and I believe in starting your studs, but it will be interesting to see how the Bolts come out on Sunday.
