He's scene as the every down linebacker for Oakland. With good DB's. Should McClains production be close to Laurinaitas in his rookie season?

Any thoughts/Predictions?

I dont know why he cant. Maybe because OAK wont be as miserable a team as StL was, and he wont be on the field quite as much???

I want McClain, and if things go as planned I'll basically have the first 3 picks of a keeper league, Mathews, Best and McClain, unless someone cuts a good proven RB, with the goal of being a strong team in 2011(if they play football in 2011).

I loved the game films of him, and when the steelers showed some interest, they say he was the most NFL ready LB. I expect slightly lower than Patrick Willis tackle numbers. Who knows about the big plays, INTs, TDs, etc.

I think his numbers may actually be better tackle wise. Laurinitas was credited with just 13 assist tackles last season, including ZERO in his 8 home games.

Oakland home games are a little more lenient with awarding assists, so it may buffer McClain's total tackle number a bit in comparison.
